The only hole I can think of that you're referring to is the fact that we don't understand why scum would have targeted me.
Regardless, I don't blame you all for going for me. I'm probably the safest person to pick for a lynch. After I'm gone, make sure you take a hard long look at the people you think are trustworthy, though, because obviously there are people thought to be clean that are actually very dirty and very sneaky.

Yeah, that's the hole I meant.
Yeah, because basically everyone else besides you is at least semi-confirmed, so we'll have to have some hard looks at people. I'm inclined towards Sylandra at the moment.
Ileein2011-02-15 02:29:24
I can 100% guarantee, backed up by mod confirmation, that Sylandra wins with town.

Well then.

Also. Really. If you want to investigate me, go for it, but we've had it confirmed by truth telling, the mod, and the Mariage Sorciere I'm Town. If that is not enough for you, then by all means, send Shiri my way.
But there is a sneaky scum out there and we need to root them out.

Amidst a small amount of confusion, the gathered guests quickly convene against one person in particular - AllergictoSabres.
They make placating gestures and speeches, but the room will have none of it. Solemnly, the door to the Mansion is swung open ... and the group finds themselves face-to-face with an as-of-yet-unseen guest.
An Inquisitor - hunter of Witches.
AllergictoSabres' ordinarily calm expression soon distorts into one of outright distaste and anger. As the new guest unsheathes blades of glittering blue and red, the Veil is abruptly torn away from AtS's person to reveal that he is EVA-Beatrice! A struggle soon follows afterwards, demonic furniture being summoned from the darkest depths of Hell to face off with the Inquisitor, as Anti-Mystery and Anti-Fantasy clash in a battle of Red and Blue Truths. Soon the Anti-Mystery side begins to fall, as shadow after shadow, illusion after illusion is destroyed to leave the phantasmal lies and deception laid bare. A deranged look distorts the Inquisitor's features as she unleashes a final tirade of Red Truth:
In a flare of light, Beatrice's cat box is opened and the truth is finally revealed...

The Town Faction has won the game.
The Witch Faction were unable to succeed in their goals; obtaining a majority number of the game's participants.
It may also be noted that;
The Lovers lived until the end of the game! And...
Mariage Sorciere was partially reformed!
Though the Lovers weren't actually a win condition more than a quirk, a Mariage Sorciere win condition was a possibility; annotated roles will be posted after my own breakdown of the game.
The Good
- The flavour was hopefully interesting enough to insure that everyone playing along had fun.
o Maybe it's gotten some people to want to read the VNs!
- Prior to the Witch Faction suffering from defeat and going downhill, people seemed to enjoy themselves.
- Designing a relatively unorthodox theme game was enjoyable in and of itself, as was running it. This was my first time, so... yeah, mistakes were made.
- Day 2 and 3 were so rife with suspicion and intrigue I was coming to feel like a Manipulative Bastard.
The Bad
- With retrospect being 20/20? Balance issues, including but not limited to:
o Ange's death mechanic being too ambiguous and forgiving.
o Two roleblockers.
o Giving an investigator role to Shiri, who will always die Night 1 unless he is scum. No exceptions.
o Eva dayvig.
- Element of uncertainty regarding whether or not a Witch was a Bad Thing or a Good Thing wasn't perpetuated for as long as I'd hoped.
- This forum's mafia games, as a whole, are in my experience really trusting. Roleclaiming is an encouraged thing; information is shared freely, if with some trepidation. I suppose that hampered how well this game executed.
- The lack of powers on death was a hit or miss thing, depending on how you look at it.
- As with all Theme Games, Scum teams are at a natural disadvantage due to all the named roles.
The Ugly
-EVA-Beatrice Bernkastel has died! (derrrrrrrrrrp)
- I flubbed on Day 5 with Rika's power, but in the end I don't think it would have made too much difference.
- In my efforts to give the game flavour, some role powers and their executions were awkwardly ambiguous. Solanis, for example, was just a roleblocker; don't ask me how anyone can slip through his barricade to affect someone in the roleblocked room without Solanis himself even noticing! It's maaaagic.
- Some powers were changed around pre-game; most of them, unfortunately, not for the better.
The Idea
- The basic premise was thus:
o Scum's disadvantage in the course of it being a Theme Game was intended to be alleviated by an element of uncertainty and the addition of self-sabotaging powers given to the Town.
o Erika Furudo (Shou), for example, was a paranoid investigator. Everyone shows up as scum to his investigations. Sorry, Shou!
o The game's readily-available protection roles were intended to be limited in some way. Phoebus sacrifices herself; Llandros ends up dying too; Casilu only had a few charges; Diamondais' barrier only worked on two people.
o The flavour text was meant to highly suggest that Beatrice was the Godfather figure of the Witch Faction; in reality, Beatrice herself starts off as half-town and becomes full-town when the Mariage reforms.
o Mass roleclaims were deterred by Beatrice and Ange's roles; but that didn't turn out as well as one had hoped.
o With all that, the Scum Team would ideally just go with the confusion and continually mislead the town, at least until the town began to comprehend the truth behind things.
And now; day-by-day breakdown and roles.

So you did mess up my power! Yeah, was hoping AtS would target Shiri just to have the kill backfire.

Day 1
- Kiradawea pulls an Arix vs. Celina and just dayvigs Tekora in the middle of the day. Scum team drops to 3 people. Ouch.
- Llandros lynched. Town loses both Vigilante and Bodyguard roles. Strangely, this probably hurts the Scum most in the long run: in a game this size, multiple deaths per night would help add to the confusion and speed the scum's progress towards victory.
- Rika flips the chessboard and gets a 4-person result, confusing people. Beato still shows up as scum.
- Andddd Shiri dies night 1. Town loses investigator
Day 2
- Fantastic chaos. After Shulamit's unfortunate withdrawal, Silferras takes her place, though it doesn't last. Nobody seems to pick up on the nightmare cue when Maria dies by suicide. Another victory for the Scum team.
- Mariage Sorciere brought to Town's awareness.
- Battler/Casilu killed that night; game loses coroner role.
Day 3
- Town makes with the massclaim in light of yesterday's events; Ssaliss/Gleip/AtS put at an immediate disadvantage.
- Beato reveals herself.
- Ssaliss lynched. Scum team's fate most likely sealed.
Day 4
- Shiri resurrected; town zergs Caerulo. 1 scum member left.
- AtS doesn't act at night but is more or less trapped.
Day 5
- Game end.
And now, roles:

Beatrice - Sylandra
You are Beatrice, the Golden Witch who has lived 1,000 years! You began this game on the 14th of October, 1986, as Kinzo Ushiromiya initiated a twisted, occult rite involving the mass murder of his family members so as to bring about your resurrection, born of love! As an aside, you have a soft spot for black tea, but hate people that deny your existence.
In truth, you are just as much a piece on the chessboard as everyone else. Chained by Lambdadelta, Witch of Certainty, to the endless game that is the Rokkenjima Massacre, your goal is simple: destruction of the Witch faction and freedom from this Endless torment.
You win with the Town faction, when all Witch faction members have been eliminated. However, you do not count towards the Town majority as you are technically not supposed to exist in this iteration of the Massacre.
As the Golden Witch, you have several considerable powers. Use them wisely!
Furniture: You are capable of summoning a number of loyal furniture (servants) to aid you:
Gaap: 33rd highest ranking earl of hell named after the demon of the same name, Gaap draws power from the abyss to summon portals that can lead anywhere, though there are some limits. By using this power, you can forcefully remove one person from chessboard of the Rokkenjima Massacre for 1 day and 1 night. You may only use this power once. (Players removed in this way still count towards the overall town/scum count.)
Deploying Gaap is a hidden effect during the day (you will not be revealed), but it can be tracked (NOT blocked) during night. If you imprison someone in the Abyss during the day, they will come back the following day. If you do it at night, they will return the following night (and be able to use their powers the night of their return, if any). While placed in the Abyss, the target may not act or be act upon.
To use this, PM the moderator with SUMMON GAAP and designate a target.
Jailer power
Ronove: 27th highest ranking earl of hell named after the demon of the same name, Ronove is your faithful (if sardonic and ambiguously gay) demon butler. (Seriously, his nose bleeds turn into rose petals!) At night, you can bid Ronove to watch over a person of your choosing. Ronove will report to you three things: who the person targets (if any), what ability they use, and any ability used against them on that night. You may use this power three times.
Important note: if you set Ronove against someone of the Witch faction, they will become immediately aware that Beatrice, the Golden Witch exists in this iteration of the Rokkenjima Massacre. Likewise, you will lose the power to use Ronove. This does not mean that they will know YOU (the player) are Beatrice, just that Beatrice is one of the game's roles. Given your very precariously town position (and the fact that all murders in every massacre are carried out in your name), your discovery will very likely end in your downfall.
To use this, PM the moderator with SUMMON RONOVE and designate and target.
Returns: Target, brief description of ability, descriptions of abilities used towards the one being watched
"Say it in red!"
All things spoken in red text are known as the Red Truth. This power is solely yours.
Once a night, you may PM the moderator with a phrase posted by another player, and attempt to SAY IT IN RED. If this statement can be elevated to Red Truth via your power, you will deem it so, verifying the phrase's truthfulness.
(You may use this power at the same time you summon Gaap or Ronove, if you so desire.)
Can't be roleblocked; but if a single part of the offered statement has an element of untruth it can't be raised as Red.
Witch of Rokkenjima
You are the Witch of Rokkenjima and master of its night, purveyor of illusion and fantasy. In more simplistic terms, you've had so many Face-Heel and Heel-Face turns that you're a revolving door of lies and deception. All kills of the Witch faction are carried out as a facade in your name, and all investigation attempts will show you as guilty.
Returns guilty to Jessica, Erika and counts in Kyrie's chessboard count.
SPECIAL: When in Mariage Sorciere, Beatrice is counted towards town vs. scum majorities.
SPECIAL: When in 3-man Mariage Sorciere, Beatrice no longer returns guilt to investigations.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me!

"I can say it with Certainty."
You are Lambdadelta, Witch of Certainty who has lived 1,000 years!
Once the most powerful Witch in the universe, you tortured Bernkastel, Witch of Miracles in one of your many games as a toy. However, she enacted a miracle and managed to escape your game, becoming a Witch more powerful than even yourself.
In this iteration of the Rokkenjima Massacre, the Witch faction has inserted themselves as pieces on the Chessboard alongside the other pawns. Once a night, the Witch faction must choose a person to kill and one witch to carry out that kill. Likewise, in your capacity as Witch of Certainty, you have the following power:
Certainty:
As the Witch of Certainty, you are able to enact magic with absolute certainty and no chance of failure. This bends the very tenets of magic: all acts of magic, in order to qualify as magic, must carry with them some form of risk. This does not hold true for you!
You may choose one of your nightkills to enact with the Magic of Certainty, executing it cleanly and without failure. It will pierce all defenses and leave no corpse. It will be untraceable by mortal means. The kill must be carried out by you – to make it a Certain kill, simply inform that the mod that Playername will Certainly die on this night! in place of the usual kill.
Can't be roleblocked, watched, or traced back to Lambda in any way. 0 risk involved.
If used against someone guarded by Kanon, both Kanon and the target die. Lambda is safe.
If used against someone guarded by Natsuhi, both Natsuhi and the target die.
You win when the Witch faction obtains a Majority.
Your teammates are: Bernkastel, Virgilia and EVA-Beatrice.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me and I will be as helpful as I can!

"We will simply tear out the guts of Beato's tale."
You are Bernkastel, Witch of Miracles who has lived 1,000 years!
Imprisoned in a game world by Lambdadelta for centuries, you gained your power as a Witch by enacting a miracle that allowed you to break free from your endless torture, thus freeing yourself from mortal bonds and usurping Lambda's place as the most powerful Witch in the universe.
To an Endless Witch, boredom is the greatest of torments: as such, to keep things interesting, you have allied yourself with Lambda to ensure that the Rokkenjima Massacre never reaches its conclusion.
Once a night, the Witch faction must choose a person to kill and one witch to carry out that kill. Likewise, in your capacity as Witch of Miracles, you have one power:
Cats:
Yeah. You have a thing for cats. Sure, you feed them human flesh and they can meld seamlessly into darkness, but they have totally non-nefarious uses too! This is a passive ability. At the end of each night, you will be informed of who, if anyone, acted towards your faction at night. You will not be able to discern their role, alignment, power or target; simply that someone targeted your faction.
Returns, for example:
Jessica (Shiri) acted towards Lambdadelta.
Natsuhi (Phoebus) acted towards Virgilia.
etc

You are Virgilia, the once-Endless, now-Finite Witch that has lived for 1,000 years!
Defeated by your apprentice, Beatrice, centuries ago, you have abdicated your title as Beatrice, the Endless Witch and instead taken the name Virgilia. You believe Beatrice lost her power as a player of the game several iterations ago. In this version of the Rokkenjima Massacre, you have been forced to follow the Witch Faction onto the board.
While you bear no title or specific realm as a Witch, you have two powers:
Truth - Twice per game, you may analyze a post for elements of truth. To do this PM the moderator with a link to the post in question, which can be done at any time. You will then deconstruct the post, point by point, and determine all relevant truths, falsehoods and ambiguities contained within it. You may only use this power once per day/night cycle.
Deconstructs statements - truth, untruth, subjective/ambiguous truth.
Goat Butlers – Lesser minions of hell. Summoning them is a simple task for you; at night, you may summon a goat to stand guard outside a person's room. Their mere presence will torment the room's occupants with oppressive, suffocating terror, and they will not dare step from their room that night. If you use this power, you cannot search for elements of truth on that night.

Standard roleblock.
Once a night, the Witch faction must choose a person to kill and one witch to carry out that kill.
You win when the Witch faction obtains a Majority.
Your teammates are: Lambdadelta, EVA-Beatrice and Bernkastel.

EVA-Beatrice - AllergictoSabres
â€Why don't you just give up and die?!â€
You are EVA-Beatrice, the inner child-witch of Eva Ushiromiya given form by Beatrice in the third game of the Rokkenjima Massacre after you helped your mortal self solve the Epitaph of the Golden Witch, discovering the Ushiromiya Inheritance – ten heaping tons of gold.
Wholly convinced of your superiority and how much you deserve your title as Heir of the Ushiromiya family, you are psychotic and twisted beyond all belief, the epitome of Black Magic run amok. You are not as powerful as your fellow Witches due to your relative inexperience, but revel in the Endless pain of others. You have two powers:
Mockery – Why don't you just give up and die already?! Twice during the game, once a night, you may visit a player and subject them to an endless mockery. If that player receives at least four votes the following day, they will collapse under the pressure and commit suicide. The day's normal lynch will still occur. To use this power, PM the mod with MOCK at night.
Victim is informed during their usual night PM that they suffer from terrible nightmares; default text, non-red so as to be innocuous.
The next day, if they receive 4 votes, they die; death is considered by means of suicide.
Stakes of Purgatory – You control the Seven Stakes of Purgatory, even in their human form. They will give their lives to protect you from hostile actions at night. As a note, these same stakes will be used to carry out the nighttime murders.
Nightkill Immunity.
Protects Eva from Kanon's bodyguard skill and his night-vig kills.
Once a night, the Witch faction must choose a person to kill and one witch to carry out that kill.
You win when the Witch faction obtains a Majority.
Your teammates are: Lambdadelta, Virgilia and Bernkastel.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me and I will be as helpful as I can!

Battler Ushiromiya - Casilu
“Ahh! It's useless, it's all useless!â€
You are Battler Ushiromiya, son of Rudolph and Asumu Ushiromiya. You have one sister, Ange Ushiromiya, whom you know is not present in this game, as on the day of October 14th, 1986, she was left home, sick with the stomach flu. But if your family never makes it back, she'll be forced to grow up without her onii-chan...
You were born with an immense amount of anti-magic toxin in your blood, allowing you to stubbornly deny the existence of Witches and Magic. You can only do this through bizarre and twisted logic stretched to its absolute maximum. You exist in both within and outside the chess board, giving you some degree of meta-control over the game.
You have two powers:
Devil's Proof:
The lack of proof that contradicts a given statement makes the statement true in some sense. This connects with the idea that there is no evidence to prove that the devil exists. However, there is also no evidence that says "the devil does not exist" so therefore one cannot rule that the devil doesn't exist.
By using the Devil's Proof, up to three times game, you will force the hand of the Witch faction into illuminating the circumstances of someone's death at night, thereby revealing further information about their role. To use this power, PM me with Argue Devil's Proof at any time after daybreak, specifying one person that died that previous night. This information will then be revealed to the town as a whole, anonymously.
Coroner. If a person dies the previous night, can be used to reveal information about their powers.
Hempel's Raven:
1. All ravens are black.
2. By Law of Implication, everything that is not black is not a raven.
3. My pet raven is black.
Upon sighting a green apple, we can observe:
4. This green (and thus not black) thing is an apple (and thus not a raven).
If we alter our statements to say that all ravens are purple, or white or cyan or any non-green colour, statement 4 can support the logic behind all of them equally. This is Hempel's Raven, known as the Raven Paradox, which you may use to refute the existence of magic: one may argue that fairies live inside a cathode ray tube and magically make a TV function, but until you take apart the tube (or investigate every apple/raven in the world), you can't claim this to be an absolute truth!
Twice per game, you may prepare this argument in defense of one player, protecting them from death that night. You may not use this power on yourself. Simply Argue for in a PM to me at nighttime.
Standard doctor powers. Bypassed with Certainkill.
You win with the Town, when all members of the Witch faction have been eliminated.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me and I will be as helpful as I can!

George Ushiromiya - Solanis
“If it's for love, it's worth it."
You are George Ushiromiya, sole child of Eva and Hideyoshi Ushiromiya. Your parents have long expected you to be the Heir of the Ushiromiya family, as Krauss and Natsuhi (your uncle and aunt) seemed incapable of producing a child. Jessica was eventually born, however, freeing you of this responsibility.
Your mother, however, is intent on keeping you within your own social class. If she found out your love for Kinzo Ushiromiya's servant, Shannon, she would likely disown you... but if it's for Shannon, you're certain it would be worth it, no matter how painful.
During day and night, you may speak to Shannon (Diamondais). Your Quicktopic is here: http://www.quicktopic.com/45/H/Lp44CKsfDfLKj
Aside from a great deal of intelligence and martial arts prowess imparted by your mother, you have an excellent knowledge of the mansion's layout and have managed to pilfer a Master Key. Once per night, you may TRAP , locking them in their room for that night, blocking their action.
Standard roleblock.
You win with the Town, when all members of the Witch faction have been eliminated. You know that Shannon shares this win condition.
Mason powers.
SPECIAL: If Shannon dies, George commits suicide.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me and I will be as helpful as I can!

Shannon - Diamondais
“I... I will be furniture no longer! I am human! I am loved!â€
You are Shannon, a servant employed by the Ushiromiya family. You and George Ushiromiya, grandson of your master, Kinzo, have long had a relationship with one another. It was during the Rokkenjima Massacre that he proposed to you.
Despite your status as a human, you have a small power over magic – protective magic in particular. At night, you may enclose your room within a barrier, preventing all actions against you. At least, ones your magic is strong enough to overcome. Alternatively, you may place the barrier around George's room, with an identical effect. To use this power, simply PM the mod at night specifying that you wish to protect either yourself or George.
Prevents all actions that involve directly entering or interfering with Shannon or George's room:
- Jessica investigation
- Regular nightkills
- Kanon and Natsuhi protections
- Eva's seal
- EVA's nightmares
- NOT disrupted by Kyrie's switching

Ange Ushiromiya - Ileein
“I want the truth."
You are Ange Ushiromiya from the world of 1998, 12 years after the Rokkenjima Massacre. You were brought into the Third Game by Bernkastel to prevent Beatrice from triumphing over Battler. Since then, you have learned of your own Achilles' Heel in a most painful manner, and the equally painful truth:
You are Ange Ushiromiya of 1998. On October 18th, 1986, your Battle Onii-chan did not come home. On October 18th, 1986, your Battler Onii-chan will never come home. Even if you save the Ushiromiya family in the meta-game, you will never experience the return of your family. For this, the Witch faction must die.
You have two traits:
Witch – You were once a Witch of Mariage Sorciere, an alliance of witches composed of yourself, Maria and Beatrice. In this iteration of the game, your powers and identities are sealed – but they will return again if you manage to rebuild the alliance. You may SCRUTINIZE a player once a night to determine if they are of Mariage Sorciere. If they are, your alliance will reform, and your powers will be reborn. (Note: Mariage Sorciere is distinct from the enemy Witch faction.)
Capable of becoming a Mason-like group.
SPECIAL: When Mariage Sorciere is reformed with 2 members including Ange, Ange gains one-shot resurrection skill. If Maria or Beato is resurrected, they return in their full witch form.
SPECIAL: When Mariage Sorciere is reformed with 3 members, new win condition is gained. If the scum team acquires a majority while MS is still in full existence, Ange/Maria/Beato manage to escape alive and win their own victory. Witch Faction still wins; Town still loses.
Miraculous Paradox – You cannot exist here. You come from the reality where the Ushiromiya family is slaughtered in the Rokkenjima Massacre, the truth that Battler works to dispel. As such, if you claim to be Ange while Battler is alive, you will die at the next Lynch (successful or otherwise). This is the one condition on which Bernkastel brought you into this game, and it is the condition she intended to use to dispose of you when your usefulness was over.
Being revealed specifically as Ange at any time triggers her eventual death.
If Battler is jailed during the reveal, Ange stays alive.
You win with the Town, when all members of the Witch faction have been eliminated.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me and I will be as helpful as I can!

You're a social outcast among your classmates, much to the despair of your mother, who can sometimes get … violent. You have a great knowledge of occultism and other obscure trivia. You don't mind the Rokkenjima Masacre – after all, when Beatrice is revived, we'll all be resurrected in the Golden Land! Kihihihihi~
You have one power:
Witch – In truth, you are a Witch, apprentice under Beatrice. Nobody takes you seriously when you claim this, though, since it's probably just a childish fantasy to them. You formed Mariage Sorciere, an alliance of Witches, alongside Beatrice and Ange. While your powers have been locked away in this iteration of the game, if you manage to reform the alliance, you will return to your witch self. You may SCRUTINIZE a player each night to see if they are a member of the alliance. If they are, the alliance will reform. (Note: Mariage Sorciere is distinct from the enemy Witch faction).
SPECIAL: If the Mariage Sorciere is reformed with 2 members including Maria, becomes Lady MARIA and gains power of Diplomatic Immunity - ability to either stop the lynch of one person during day. Also protectes Maria from nightkills and dayvigs.
SPECIAL: Same special win condition as with Ange.

Despite this, you are ultimately last in line of importance for the family, one thing Krauss's siblings never seem to tire of mocking you for. You have one daughter, Jessica Ushiromiya, and you wish she would stop acting like a tomboy all the time.
You have one power:
Closed Room – Once a night, you may opt to secure yourself and up to two others within Kinzo's study. The room is virtually impregnable, but you trust only yourself to bear an old Winchester rifle to defend it with. If anyone in the room is somehow attacked, you will give your life to defend them.
If Kanon or a Witch team member attacks someone in the Closed Room other than Natsuhi, they're forced to kill Natsuhi and then flee.

Kyrie Ushiromiya - Rika
“Wait. Let's flip the chessboard.â€
You are Kyrie Ushiromiya, wife of Rudolph Ushiromiya and step-mother of Battler Ushiromiya. Your relationship with your son is one of friendship. In the past, you know that Rudolph was seduced by Battler's mother, Asumu, and coerced into marrying her. After her death in a car accident, Rudolph immediately remarried you... an act that caused Battler to fly into a rage of misunderstanding and depart to live with his grandparents. You are seeing him for the first time in six years, here at the Rokkenjima Massacre.. and as much as you miss him, it reminds you of Asumu's crime.
You may be a mere human, but you have a shrewd, perhaps cruel mind, capable of discerning the intent of individuals. You've coined the idea of 'chessboard thinking', which has grown to be a fond strategy of Battler's in each of the games. As such, you have one power:
Flip the Chessboard – At night, you may Flip the Chessboard to try and predict the thoughts of the mastermind behind the massacre. You may then convince two family members to switch rooms for the night, convinced that this will be best for their safety. This power will cause all actions towards one of the targets to be redirected towards the other, and vice versa.
Will not mislead certain powers such as making Jessica investigate herself, or moving Shannon/George barriers.
During the day, you may post "Why don't be flip the chessboard?" or a similar mentioning. If you point me to the post in particular that says this, you will deduce the number of scum remaining in the game. If you do not deliberately point it out to me, I will not interpret it as the power being used. You may use this day power once. Doing so means you cannot use the power at night. The night power may be used once per night, with no charge limit.
Returns number of scum; includes Beato.
Note: You are not required to bold, quotation-mark or otherwise highlight the phrase, so it will not be explicitly linked back to you. However, everyone will be made aware that such a deduction has been made – so the more perceptive ones may link it back to you. While they will learn the deduction has been made, they will not know the results of it (the number of scum remaining) unless you divulge that information yourself.
You win with the Town, when all members of the Witch faction have been eliminated.

Standard investigative powers.
You win with the Town, when all members of the Witch faction have been eliminated.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me and I will be as helpful as I can!

Erika Furudo - Shou
“This level of reasoning is possible for Furudo Erika. What do you think, everyone?â€
You are Erika Furudo, ace detective! You've been placed in this game as a pawn of Bernkastel, Witch of Miracles, determined to use your years of detective experience to find out the identity of the Rokkenjima Massacre's true culprit! The mystery of Rokkenjima will be laid bare by the world's true intellectual rapist!
You've engrossed yourself so deeply in the world's mystery novels and you've memorized Knox's Ten Commandments by heart. As such, you have one power:
Deduction – Once per night, you may ANALYZE a person to hyper-scrutinize all their past actions since arriving on the island, determining their alignment in a flash of insight. If they are a culprit, you, Erika Furudo, will know!
Can't be roleblocked or mislead.
Returns guilty on all targets - paranoid investigator.
You win with the Town, when all members of the Witch faction have been eliminated.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me and I will be as helpful as I can!

Kanon - Llandros
“I am but furniture. I live to serve.â€
You are Kanon, servant of the Ushiromiya family, trapped here during the typhoon that heralds the Rokkenjima Massacre! You have spurned the affections of the head daughter, Jessica Ushiromiya, for far too long. Perhaps, if she is correct, you are truly human? Can this be possible?
You have a small skill in offensive and retaliatory magic, being a servant of Kinzo Ushiromiya, a sorceror and head of the family. You have two powers:
Zero:
You are the Zero in a roulette wheel; an infinitesimally insignificant figure with the capability for immense payoffs. Once a night, you may Watch Over a person. If someone attempts to kill them that night, you will intercept the assailant, protecting the would-be victim. If you successfully intercept the murderer, you will give your life to simultaneously end theirs.
Bodyguard power. Won't work against persons immune to death in some way.
Certainkills from Lambda will kill both Kanon and intended target.
Assault:
At night, you may utilize your magic to end the life of whomever you specify, via a magical red blade. You may not Watch Over a person if you opt to kill during the night.
Standard vigilante power.
In retrospect this was one of my biggest mistakes; the vigilante was important to the overall game, and adding a this-or-that-not-both Bodyguard power was unnecessary.
Originally given to Natsuhi, but she later received the Closed Room power.
You win with the Town, when all members of the Witch faction have been eliminated.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me and I will be as helpful as I can!

Eva Ushiromiya - Kiradawea
You are Eva Ushiromiya, eldest daughter of the Ushiromiya family, wife of Hideyoshi and mother of George Ushiromiya. Your whole life you have been dedicated to proving yourself a suitable inheritor to your grandfather's legacy – and with it, his secret gold.
You are a very wily woman, and with this comes a few, oft-overlooked tricks:
Seal – Once per night, you may place a slip of paper within the horizontal crease of a player's door. If they, for whatever reason, leave the room that night, you will be aware of it. Simply PM the mod with Seal at night.
Returns whether or not a person left their room to act that night.
Works on everything except Shannon barriers, Lambda Certainkills, Erika investigations, Beato/Virgilia truths - maybe others I missed?
Natsuhi's closed rooms will proc this even on protected targets.
Charisma – While some would prefer to regard you as 'sinister', you know that you're merely the most charismatic of your siblings. Once a game, you may double the strength of your vote for that day. Simply PM the mod your desire and it will be accounted for accordingly. (Note: your fellow town will not be aware of this action, nor that a second, invisible vote is in place that follows your own)
Standard double-vote.
Martial Artist – Your grandfather, Kinzo Ushiromiya, believed the place of women was at the side of and in the kitchen of their husband's households. You disagree. You are a master of at least seven martial arts and have won several world tournaments. You may anonymously incapacitate a player during the day. To do this, PM the mod with 'INCAPACITATE'. You may only do this once per game. If you strike out at your husband or child, you will recognize who they are before the final blow, failing your action and consuming the power's use.
Anonymous dayvig; will not work on George.
Does not return alignment of the victim upon death.
And OK, let's be honest, 'incapacitate' wasn't the right word for it.
You win with the Town, when all members of the Witch faction have been eliminated.

Hahahahah Shiri got certainkilled on night 1. Amusing. And I even blocked Ssaliss!
Good game.

I was the last scum what really what is this I don't even. I was defending Bernkastel, too!
Excellent game! I was reluctant to roleclaim, but with GAAP at my disposal, I was ready to cackle evilly and swoop out of the gameboard just before the day ended if necessary. So on that crazy, crazy MyLo, I was trying to get as much suspicion drawn to me as possible (figuring scum would jump on me like flies), with the hope of getting a likely scum up as a second-highest vote that would take effect once I GAAP'ed out of existence for a day and night.
But the goat butler roleblock thing saved that use for another day!

Yay, good game. I would have been a way more volatile Beato, though that probably would have been to the detriment of town.
Good game, now go and savour the taste of victory!

When I replaced Gleip for this game, I realised something:
Whenever I replace someone, I'm scum. (Super Smash Bros Brawl, Ministry of Magic, Umineko)
Whenever I play from the start, I'm town. (Lazy mod, Mirror Image, Midnight Crew, Investigation)
Edit: Oh wait, there's an anomalous game, where I started scum. (60's music) Damn.

To be fair about lazy mod, everyone but one or two people started as town.

Oh yeah, that's the whole point.
I remember I helped town to lynch my own cult leader. That was awesome.

Disappointment all around for me here. My first time getting to play as scum in a long while and not only was my role rather garbage, I get ganked Day 1. It sucked having to sit on the sidelines while the scum team made obvious mistakes.
Vengeance will be mine, Kiradawea!!
