Ok, have finally read through and processed everything that happened while the cruel storm kept me away.

Kiradawea's overconfidence still rubs me the wrong way. It was obvious that she was the one who killed Tekora (even before she admitted to it) when she said "someone killed scum." in reply to someone asking what happened. Because it wasn't, "someone killed a person who may or may not have been scum", it was just "someone killed scum," which means she was completely convinced he was scum, and so would have killed him. Which I assume she will do every time she suspects a person is scum.

Was Tekora scum? No, we really don't know. I personally feel that if every single witch was scum, making what a certain witch's alignment was a big mystery would be pretty much pointless. I don't think it's that simple. And honestly, I'm not totally comfortable having someone who has a daykill power and thinks for sure they know what alignment everyone is hanging around to off everyone who gets mildly suspicious about things once a day. My vote is staying where it is.

Hmm. We'll be coming up on a deadline before long. The current votes seem to be for Rika (from Gleip, for random-voting and then trying to defend it with logic), Kiradawea (a collection of factors, not least suspicious behavior-- but recent events have made me reluctant to lynch her today), and Phoebus (for not being present, but given that this was due to LOLSNOW I really don't think that's a scum sign ). Those posts about Kira were directed at me . Also, you're doing it again! Even though you're posting, you're still essentially saying nothing. Try paying attention to what's going on in the game and making comments on it, and keeping silly nothing-posts to a minimum (I have a problem with that particular one, ahem. I'm working on it.) It is important to be a contributing member of the discussion unless you want to get murderized!

I try to think of things to add, see, and nothing comes up. So, here's a try.

Town wins when all witches die, yes, from what I understand. From reading the wiki, not all witches are evil, and there could be several factions, just from reading mafia wiki too. So, there in fact could be a good witches group, which just going from talking, could lead to one saying, maybe, good witches want bad witches to die. Don't like having a bad name after all, would they?

But see, when I do that, I don't know if it's the truth, and then I get worried and think, wait, did I say something wrong? Meer.

Everyone's just making guesses unless they have a power that tells them otherwise, some people are just super confident about their guesses. Don't be afraid to chime in with an idea if you have one.

Ok so. Bernkastel. The Alignment-less Wonder.

Kiradawea is pretty convinced about this Tekora-is-scum thing, which I can understand on one level because of Bernkastel's supposed magicky skillz (With of Miracles n stuff). Town's not really all for magic in general in this game, from what I can see, so it'd likely be considered a success to Town on that merit alone. So imo either 1) Kiradawea is just a concerned Townie or 2) a scum who is aware that some Townies are not what we expect them to be. (Are there even good witches here? )

One other thing: Tekora's death was non-magical. So Kiradawea's kill, then, sounds less scummy to me. And with the unlikeliness of the scum-hunting-good-witches option, I'm going to settle on the first unless other information crops up.

Sorry Shulamit, I know you're just being yourself, but saying things like that will get people to believe otherwise. I think that's what the others were trying to point out earlier. It's a beginner thing, really.

We don't win "when all witches die", we win when the "witch faction" is dead. Bernkastel might have been on the anti-witch faction (although, yeah, she could have been in the witch faction too.) It's too early to tell at this point.

Alright, let's just flip the chessboard and try to clear a few things up, since deadline is so close.

Firstly, why is Gleip being so defensive about Kiradawea? This post for example:

Secondly, we cannot conclude that Tekora is definitely scum. We're going up against the witches, but there must be a reason why his role wasn't revealed. What did Kiradawea say? She "realised Tekora was scum", so offed him. She still has not recognised the fact that Tekora may actually not be scum. In fact, it is the opposite. She's pretty much the only one who is trying to convince us that Tekora was indeed scum.

Thirdly, I don't like how Gleip asked if Kiradawea killed Tekora and then Kiradawea wouldn't just answer, but again tried to dodge the question. It wasn't until both Shiri and Gleip had posted potential reasons for her that she "confirmed" that she was a dayvig.

And then there is this gem: "I've another trick up my sleeve which I can use to confirm or deconfirm Shiri later."

So you've told us you're supposedly a dayvig, but you now find other "tricks" to confirm Shiri's alignment. But of course, we don't know what you're talking about.

Pretty sure we can investigate that later if necessary. Let's move on from that for now.
