Everiine2011-11-27 01:31:49
Maellio is an otter that won't leave Ev alone. He has yet to figure out why. Something about chess. But he always feels like the otter is watching him, and that is an unsettling image.
Unknown2011-11-27 07:19:07
Everiine - beyond being in memory the single defining constant and reasonable authority figure of Serenwilde - is also the strange Trill Mael remembers meeting once or twice on the roads outside Glomdoring (dropping a pair of found pants down upon him from his broom >_>).
Svorai2012-07-07 15:31:55
I'm necroing this. So sue me!
Svorai recently had the pleasure of interacting with Maellio. Becoming Ambassador has opened up so many more interactions with those 'outside', and her talks with Maellio were courteous and interesting. While her curiosity begs to pry at his (and others') lives a little deeper, she's content to watch and see what happens. As a young druid, Svorai remembers Maellio talking with Eliron, and having the sense that she had stumbled upon a sensitive and private conversation -- Maellio left Glomdoring shortly afterward, and she always wondered why he went to Hallifax. More curious questions to answer! Svorai has noticed similarities between Eliron and Maellio, which amuses her, and she's decided that she finds Maellio intriguing.

(leave me out of this, just commenting)
I don't know annnnnyone here. Even Svorai, who I was in the same org with for 2 years... I never reeaaaalllly interacted with! :|

Eritheyl2012-07-08 03:55:16
As far as I can remember, the only interactions Eritheyl has ever had with Svorai were in the form of raids or Faethorn scuffles. Despite this, he's always held her in rather high regards. Opposing nations or no (specifically citing his time in the Hartstone), he's always felt a sort of estranged kinship with those of the Blacktalon, even granted that all but their novices were far, far above him in most aspects.
Unknown2012-07-10 01:56:28
Eritheyl strikes Mael as being one who is rather committed to his jobs within the Collective while at the same time often trying to manage too much too closely, as if trying to add a personal touch with too few fingers, and often seems just a bit too strung out. Though this opinion is skewed by some past experiences with him that leave Mael at average indifferent and at worst a bit disappointed.
Unknown2012-07-10 02:19:47
Iytha honestly likes Maellio, but thinks he has some really kooky ideas. I mean, atomic theory? Aurics being distinct from biology? Collectivism? Time travel being possible at all? Even despite these apparent eccentricities, Iytha still thinks of him as mostly an alright guy and looks forward to the promised dinner date with him and his wife.
Unknown2012-07-10 04:54:46
Iytha terribly intrigues Mael, even more now that he feels her intellect is wasted singing psalms in Celest on top of having been corrupted by the mysticism of Gaudiguch. And while no longer considering assimilating her to the Collective, he's at least rather wanting to make friends with an intellectual he really wishes he knew a long time ago.
Shulamit2012-07-10 04:57:35
Shulamit likes Maellio, and giving him cup cakes. She also liked the tea party she thinks shes not suppose to talk about, notably for the moving desks. The moving desk was fun to watch, and pretend it wasn't moving while she drank tea.
Xiel2012-07-10 09:52:13
Shulamit has got to be one of the most wholesome people Viynain has gotten to know. It's not often folk get to encounter someone so divorced from the realm of Lusternian combat yet so developed and dynamic, so it's actually kind of refreshing whenever they bump into each other.
Her penchant of being a walking, talking glow stick also adds to the fun.

Ankastra2012-07-10 10:14:31
When Ankastra was a nublet she thought that Viynain was scary when she first asked him if she could join his cooking cartel. On the other hand, he designed her nekai for her so she likes him a lot that she appreciates the company when going hunting with him.
In short, Viynain is awesome and Ankastra is glad to know and fight ice things alongside him.

Kialkarkea thinks Ankastra makes delicious soup, and is fantastic at ripping eyeballs out. There's not much else to say on the topic other than a general sense of approval.
Ardmore2012-07-13 01:45:07
Damn it, I missed Viynain's post. :(
Xiel2012-07-13 02:45:58
Aw, poor Ardy. Got ninja'd by Anky, but maybe you'll get lucky this time.
As for the game, what can I say about Ardmore from Viynain's point of view? It's hard to divorce the perception that's been built between the character and the player given our history, but thinking hard, I'd be able to say that Viynain considers Ardmore to be unquestionably odd yet lovable precisely because of this fact.
He finds Ardmore to have, among other things, an uncommon attachment to an overgrown pony, a curious lack of confidence given his certain capability, and a sweet predisposition for thoughtfulness that underlies everything they do together. Though they're a couple, they're certainly their own individual persons - and while they might do their own things for their own reasons, whenever they do get together, they just connect.
It's refreshing, altogether, for me as a player to participate in this dynamic that I've been lucky enough to stumble upon. I look forward to seeing how this grows, provided the opportunity be available for it to do so.

I can look past his unreasonable jealous of my textpony and say Viynain is one of the most supportive people in the game. When I first knew him I hated his guts, as I was Cacophony envoy and he was Spiritsingers after they got their awesomesauce buff AND HE TRIED TO MAKE THEM EVEN MORE AWESOME. Anywho, Viynain is someone Ardmore can always go to when he needs help (always). Always supportive, even when he's noticeably frustrated by the massive flow of questions that he gets.
(maybe more later, placeholder!!)
(if someone posted before me I will murder them)

Shulamit2012-07-13 03:23:54
Shulamit likes Ardmore, and his husband Viynain. Ardmore seems to like cup cakes, and doesn't seem to mind dragging her dead, rambling weight around hunting, which is awesome! She also likes his text pony, and finds text pony not creepy anymore, now that he's all fiery wings!
(there there Ardmore, I thought about stealing the spot from you and commenting on Viynain, but realized in the middle of a hunt...with Ardmore....I'd dieeeee, hehe)

Seraphina2012-07-15 05:56:03
Seraphina likes Shulamit solely because the food she's been nomming on seems to have come from her cartel. :]
Astraea2012-07-15 05:59:54
Astraea thinks Seraphina is a very peculiar character with a lot of charisma, a lot of drive, but more importantly, a lot of willingness to get down and dirty in some nitty gritty intrigue. Which is why she will soon be Seraphina Nightshade. Woohoo!
Xiel2012-07-15 06:40:40
Astraea has to be one of the better spiritual leaders Viynain has encountered, however she has some...shall we say...gaps in her general experiences that balance out this awesome Queen of the Night image with the impression of a fairly clueless, though willing to learn, fledgling.
Also, as Nightshade matriarch, he finds her conquest to rise in the family ranks to be borderline disturbing and insatiable. Kinda like Morgfyre, except with less tentacles and more incest.

Svorai2012-07-15 07:21:05
Svorai has a lot of reservations where Viynain is concerned.
At once capable, intelligent, and charismatic, he is amorphous, full of secrets, and seemingly restless. When Svorai was younger, Viynain was a figure that commanded respect and awe, a person she feared and trusted. As a member of the Murder, she delighted in his ability to represent the guild as the Talons of Crow. Though this bubble was burst when he joined Shuyin in Gaudiguch. "Each choose their own path", she considers.
Svorai dearly appreciates Viynain's willingness to step in and help old friends, his vast knowledge of anything and everything, but she keeps a wary distance, as for all his niceties, his intentions seem increasingly his own. Reports of his actions in recent years have met her ears, and she doesn't like what she has heard. However, she waits to see what comes of those stories, unwilling to paint him in black and white at the first rumour.
(( PS I LOVE YOU <3 promise always forever ))
