I'm not sure that I know Maellio. Having examined the honors, however, Aeral likely would be fond of him, Hallifaxian aside. She may have met him in passing, but has forgotten, since most of her visits to Hallifax have been highly unpleasant.

Kialkarkea is very fond of Aeral, and rather proud of her too, but she just sems to have this bothersome attachment to Terentia that she can't be talked out of.

Neos and Kial go way back, all the way to when I first started playing and I just started Neos. They became such good friends, and almost became family. Neos still considers Kial family. He also mentors Kials daughter. Though they've somewhat become distant over the long years, because they took different life paths, but Neos likes to try and catch up with Kial anytime he can and not busy.

Neos is someone Syridean trusts explicitly, even on his most scatterbrained days. He's very much glad someone took over when Otem's presence dropped, as he always felt bad for leaving the Aquamancers the way he did, and Neos is doing a fine job of it, in his eyes. Syri keeps meaning to take some time to talk with Neos to see how he's handling things, and to catch up on how the Aquamancers are doing, but he never follows through with that when the two of them are awake at the same time (Which is more frequently than Syridean cares to admit sometimes).
Kiradawea2011-02-19 00:38:34
Since the guy above me has so many characters, I guess I'll be picking Usa.
Kira considers Usa to be a wonderful person. However, she has always worried that he'd overwork himself and burn himself out from constant gem-harvesting, and his current absence just confirms that in her mind. She hopes that he'll return and stick around one day, so she can talk to him, and discuss art and science with someone whom she'd actually enjoy discussing those things with. She also secretly hopes that it isn't her fault that he's absent.

Daraius2011-02-19 16:26:08
Kiradawea is always helpful and encouraging, sometimes to the point that Daraius has felt vaguely condescended to by the end of their interactions. He's never found her unpleasant, just a little too eager to volunteer unsolicited advice and opinions. At one point, while she was coordinating a neat geography riddlequiz, he hoped she would apply for a MoCA aideship. They haven't really crossed paths in a while.

Maybe it's because she knew him before he turned into STATELY GENTLEMAN LOBOSHIGARU, but Ilyssa has never felt threatened by Daraius, unlike other people in Hallifax who intimidated her with their roleplay sometimes being overly polite. It's probably because he does it so exceedingly well though, and is also extremely friendly. She also feels bad that she's never done much as an aide, nor has she been too good at his quizzes and games. I also scent him at the Hallifaxian Library sometimes, along with a bunch of other people she feels too scared to approach since they're not at the Matrix. >.>
Shulamit2011-02-19 17:43:28
Shulamit always liked Ilyssa and talking to her, though she is now sad that Ilyssa is no longer in Lord Lyreth's order. Shulamit is also worried that Ilyssa will stop talking to her now that she choose Lord Lyreth over Hallifax, since Ilyssa is nice, and talks to her about cakes and such.
Unknown2011-02-19 17:57:36
Tully considers Shulamit one of his oldest friends (which means a lot in a population that has such a turnover of active people) and is happy she is happy doing her own creative works. Tully has enjoyed the generousity of Shulamit over the years, and in recent times has appreciated her help during the Chaos of the Gnafia event. He is also very flattered that Shulamit learned Dwarven just to talk to him.
Unknown2011-02-19 18:14:17
Aeral adores Tully. Tully is one of the most unique, special people she has ever met and she is amazed by how much pride he takes in the gnomes, and in his work. He is kind, and Aeral thinks would likely do just about anything for another person, if it made their life better.
Zayden feels a sort of kinship with Tully. Like Tully, Zayden wanders and never really stays anywhere, though Zayden would never talk to Tully. Tully has inspired Zayden to help others, no matter who they be, simply for a smile on their face and Zayden's own satisfaction of being an anonymous helper.
(Just had to add: Tully's character really is an inspiration to me as a roleplayer. I've known Tully through various characters over the years and he is amazing.)

Elodres2011-02-19 20:18:32
Elodres dislikes Aeral. Though she is his Archmage, he thinks she is power hungry and rude. He will not hesitate to make snide comments about her and her authority as he feels she has not proven herself to hold the office. He also questions her contributions to the guild and will argue that they are in fact the consequence of her underlings.
And for the record, Aeral is possibly one of the coolest people OOC and I <3 her to death, and am writing this only by her encouragement.

Aeral thinks that Elodres is rude and disrespectful. She often gets into arguments with him, though she tries not to. She doesn't understand why he feels the way he does, but she tries to treat him fairly.
(Elodres is one of the coolest people I know OOCly, and we sometimes just dig at each other IC for a laugh.)

Sylandra2011-02-23 22:06:03
Sylandra doesn't know Aeral very well, but considers her very stubborn. This isn't really a positive or negative thing, it's just what she's gleaned from recent events with Aeral and the brief, fleeting encounters they've had politically and otherwise. She seems very loyal to Celest and her order, which is something Sylandra can respect, even though the Archmage's actions interfere with Sylandra's loyalties sometimes. She'd probably be willing to talk to Aeral if an opportunity ever presented itself.
Ileein2011-02-23 22:19:07
Originally, Ileein thought Sylandra was "just another one of those Skyplumes," an attitude backed up her eventual membership in Lyreth's Order and the fact that she tended to be a bit more whimsical than Ileein would have liked. However, by the time she stepped up as Mayor he was at his wits' end and willing to give her a chance, and he's glad he did. He is impressed by how she's grown and 'settled down' in the role, and has had many happy times advising her from his shadowy place behind the grandiose crystal throne that we all know Hallifax should have. By the time she married Daraius he was glad to have her as a relative (by marriage) and he is slightly worried she'll vanish now that she's stepped down.
Unknown2011-02-23 23:10:56
Maellio is slightly divided in his opinion of Ileein - on one hand he has a great deal of respect for his work, greatly enjoying any chance he gets to converse with him on scientific topics, and rather enjoys his odd sense of humor. On the other hand, Ileein has the bad habit of occasionally delegating duties off without really any reasonable comprehension of what they would entail (arguably the point of doing so, but still), and has a mild close minded superiority complex that can get under Mael's skin.
Unknown2011-02-25 07:30:50
So as well as no longer enjoying being a tae'dae, I really hate spending hours on forms as a a monk. The complexity of the class doesn't really appeal to me. What would people think if I turned Winnae into a bear furrikin bard? I realize it'd be like a complete 180 in some ways, for those that know Winnae.
Casilu2011-02-25 07:48:38
I think you have the wrong thread, Pudding Pop.
Arix2011-02-25 07:55:29
Arix... had an opinion of Casilu, but can't for the life of him remember interacting with her recently
Unknown2011-02-25 10:16:46
Arix created Mael's favourite type of Moonshine and has impressed him with his amazing tendency to get everywhere he really isn't supposed to be rather easily. And the few times they've interacted he seemed fairly... pleasantly uncaring.
Arix2011-02-25 11:32:43
Sorry about that, Arix doesn't like small talk
