Your testimonial should be -the- front page.

Meer, wrote a testimonial. Hope it's ok.

I think this man deserves an award...for being a genius. Your testimony was hilarious good sir!

Okay...just read it. Hilarious. Shuyin is insane.

I agree. Why would you have 700 vials?

2. The roleplay and politics involved in being a leader within the Lusternia MUD game improved my own real life skills at "negotiation" and "mediation" to the point that I am supremely confident that I can instantly win the game "Survivor" through near-constant drama and backstabbing. On Day 1.
Throw in pen testing skills and you are golden.

New website isn't necessarily that bad, but it kind of reminds me of those click-and-stick do-it-yourself build-your-own-free-website things with a fairly intelligent person trying to make do with limited tools. There's a lot of bullets and REALLY BIG FONT, but it's alright. I don't come along very often right now due to work and family time constraints, as well as intermediate internet, and whatever brings more players is fine by me.
My frustration is that the Nexus (which I am sadly stuck using) is different. I am an avid user of the num-pad to type numbers really fast, and I don't use the top row, but even with num-lock ON...every time I try to type a number, it erases my command and assumes my character is trying to walk in the corresponding direction as though it were a directional pad. I can type N, S, E, W, etc. just fine, give me my number pad back, please :/

Being absolutely bombarded with SIGN UP NOW stuff on the front page is really, really tacky. I know there's a marketing push on, but I can't see that working. You have literally zero information about the game on the front page that isn't utterly generic and worthless. Using different colors in a sentence usually indicates links, but here it doesn't, which not only is jarring but is a lost opportunity to lead people further into the site to learn more.

I click on "maps", I get maps- overlayed by TWO "SIGN UP NOW!" boxes.
I wish I could be more concise in exactly what I find abhorrent about the new site. I wish I could say "if only you changed the following things, it wouldn't make my eyes unfocus in a failing attempt to keep what they are seeing from reaching by brain".
Perhaps it is more like this- Think of all aspects of a website. For any general aspect I can think of, I cannot say that the new site does a better job than the old one, and usually, the reverse is true.

Oooh my. And why does it has an Italy flag on it? I would have thought it was an American thing.

Because Italians are crazy.

Speaking of completely over the top, though I'm pretty sure this just means something is broken (as the IRE site has the exact same problem), I'm getting double "MAKE A CHARACTER SIGN ME UP" boxes in places, such as the News page.
Unknown2011-02-23 06:16:31
Yeah, I'm getting that as well. And I thought it was just something wrong with my browser or computer.
