Last Votecount of the Day

Razenth is under attack by Xikue, Romertien and Sylandra. (3)
Romertien is under attack by Rika and Razenth (2)
Diamondais is under attack by Kalaneya. (1)

With one hour to deadline, the highest vote count will be lynched. If there is a tie, all highest vote counts will be lynched.

I still don't like how Romertien accused me of being anti-Han, and one thing I can be sure of at least is that he is not Wei, since he certainly did not seem to be on my side. So I am going to go with the gut feeling here.

Death to all rebels.

ORDER ARMY TO ATTACK ROMERTIEN
Unknown2011-03-01 06:25:49
And I don't like the idea of you sneaking in a last minute double lynch!!

ORDER ARMY TO ATTACK RAZENTH
Llesvelt2011-03-01 06:28:19
Why? We have plenty of people, not like we are going to to run out of them. A double lynch means double the chance of killing an anti-Han, and even if not an anti-Han there is a 2/3 chance that the individual killed will be one of my enemies.

It just rubs me the wrong way. Going on instinct here!
Llesvelt2011-03-01 06:31:46
Well, yeah, I guess it would rub me the wrong way as well.

Still, more death is preferable in this scenario, I think. Higher chance that death will strike someone we want it to strike.

Due to an error with counting Razenth's double-vote, the deadline will be extended a half-hour.

Crap! Now it's me.

WITHDRAW FORCES FROM RAZENTH, I guess.
Llesvelt2011-03-01 06:36:09
I wonder how the battlefields would look like after all this withdrawing and ordering to attack.
Tekora2011-03-01 07:01:33
That's the end of the day. No more talking.

As the gathered coalition moves towards the Capital City of Luoyang, they manage to attain many great victories, first over Dong Zhuo's famous general Hua Xiong, then driving off the fabled Lu Bu himself. Eventually, the coalition reaches Luoyang... only to find it deserted and burnt to the ground, with the royal tombs and graves looted and desecrated. Dong Zhuo himself is nowhere to be seen, having fled for the western capital of Changan at the first word of Lu Bu's withdrawal.

However, this 'victory' was not without cost, for one prominent warlord had fallen in the struggle to reach Luoyang...

QUOTE
Romertien was Liu Bei - The Imperial Uncle

You are Liu Bei, descendant of Liu Bang, founder of the Latter Han Dynasty. Once a simple shoe-weaver, your life changed one day when you met a tall long-bearded man and a broad-shouldered red-faced man in a tavern. The next day, the three of you swore an Oath of Brotherhood in a Peach Garden and set out to join a volunteer army to fight off the Yellow Turban Rebellion. Now you are the Imperial Uncle of the Emperor of the Han and the Marquis of the Kingdom of Shu, sworn to free China from the oppressive grip of Cao Cao and the Wei.

Leader - As the Marquis of Shu, once per day, you may issue a general order to your subordinate officers. However, due to spies and other hazards, there is only a 50% chance any given officer will receive this order and a 10% chance that the order may be intercepted by a spy of a rival faction! Unfortunately, there is no way to know the fate of your message once you send it.

Three Brothers - The bond you share with your brothers transcends both Earth and Heaven. As such, you can communicate with them freely during the game.

You win when the Kingdom of Shu holds a majority over the combined forces of Wu and Wei and there are no threats to the sanctity of the Han.

The coalition lords, falling to their own ambitions and petty contrivances, finally saw no further reason to continue the pursuit of Dong Zhuo and returned to their territories, disbanding the coalition and leaving the Central Plains in turmoil as the power vacuum left by the departure of Dong Zhuo cried out to be filled...

Time is moving forward. Send in your actions, you have 24 hours.

For the glory of Shu and the liberation of Han!

-dies-

Tekora2011-03-02 07:56:08
As the time marches on, the turmoil only grows. The Han Court, weaker than ever, is little more than a figurehead at this point as warlords rise up across the Central Plains in a bid to rise to power. Among these warlords, two grow most prominent.

In the northern provinces of the Empire, Yuan Shao, a governor of the Han who had acted as leader of the Anti Dong Zhuo Coalition had been consolidating his power, crushing his neighboring warlords, including Gongsun Zan, a prominent general who had served during the Yellow Turban Rebellion. By the end of the decade, he had united the whole of the Empire north of the Yellow River under the banner of the Yuan.

At the same time, the ambitious general Cao Cao had risen to prominence after subduing many of the uprising warlords around his territory, including Yuan Shu, who had declared himself Emperor after coming into possession of the Imperial Seal, as well as Lu Bu, who after breaking away from Dong Zhuo's influence, began on a path of conquest throughout the Central Plains, coming to a climax at the Siege of Xia Pi Castle, where the fabled warrior was finally defeated after facing the forces of numerous foes. But not without slaying a prominent general of the age...

QUOTE
Silferras was Gan Ning - The Warrior of the Bells

You are Gan Ning of the Bells, the bolsterous pirate turned Wu general. You are a bit brash, but few on the battlefield can match your ferocity and skill. Armies know to turn and flee when they hear the sound of your bells.

Provoke - During the day or night, you may choose to PROVOKE THE ENEMY by sending me a PM. If anyone targets your faction that night, all effects that would happen to them will deflect onto you. You may use this ability twice during the game.

You win when the Kingdom of Wu holds a majority over the combined forces of Wei and Shu and there are no threats to the sanctity of the Han.

Additionally, Cao Cao's successes were not without their drawbacks, as during his struggles, he lost a noted general of his own...

QUOTE
Vendetta Morendo was Xu Zhu - The Foolish Tiger

You are Xu Zhu, a fearsome general of Wei and personal bodyguard of Cao Cao. A simple-minded, yet extremely powerful fighter, your strength is matched only by your loyalty to Cao Cao and the kingdom of Wei.

Tiger Lust - During the night, you may target an individual to attack by PM'ing 'ASSAULT '. Your assault will be so fierce that they will be unable to act that night.

You win when the Kingdom of Wei holds a majority over the combined forces of Wu and Shu and there are no threats to the sanctity of the Han.

Now, with these two heroes having united their respective territories, they now stand ready to clash on the battlefield in a conflict that will become known as the Battle of Guan Du. Who will inherit the future? The warriors of the age are now gathering to determine this...

It is 200 AD and with 16 armies on the battlefield, it will take 9 to overwhelm an opposing general!
Llesvelt2011-03-02 08:09:47
Xu Zhu is dead?

Regrettable.

Okay, so I am pretty sure that Dong Zhou is a character, given the fact that it is noted in an earlier flavor post that he fled and was not found, I reckon according the the games, what I have read at least, he should have died there, so I think it is safe to say that he is a player and he fled because we did not kill him.

So, obviously, we need to kill Dong Zhou.
Razenth2011-03-02 08:12:17
Yuan Shao, Lu Bu, Dong Zhou. Regardless of what the flavor text says, I believe they are our scum characters. Assuming 6/6/6/4 original distribution, this leaves 5 Wei, 5 Wu, 3 Shu, and the aforementioned 3 scum.

Sounds about right to me. So, what now? I'm all about getting down to business to defeat the Huns the anti-Han before we get to this murdering-each-other-with-reckless-abandon stuff. Anyone feel like someone looks a little...like a rebel?
Arix2011-03-02 09:31:47
At this point, nobody really gives off any sort of scum vibe. It's like being on Day 1 forever

I'd be tempted to vote/duel at random, but that never solves anything
