At this point, nobody really gives off any sort of scum vibe. It's like being on Day 1 forever

Pretty much... sleep.gif
Diamondais2011-03-02 10:28:15
How am I still alive?
Arix2011-03-02 10:49:37
there a reason you shouldn't be?
Diamondais2011-03-02 11:07:23
I asked to be killed off or replaced last day?
Arix2011-03-02 11:12:33
oh, I must have missed that
Ssaliss2011-03-02 11:16:58
Bah. If I hadn't been so distracted, I would've noticed Romertien had that many votes. It was rather obvious that he was Shu, after all... And I'm fairly certain others knew that as well, yet no one spoke up. I'll read through the posts from last day to see if anything odd stands out before I point any fingers though.
Ssaliss2011-03-02 11:35:31
Okay. The people that stood out yesterday were Rika, who voted for him because "he made no sense", and Razenth (who basically made a glorified OMGUS vote). Quoting both vote-posts below for your reading-leisure.

Romertien just made zero sense so ORDER ARMY ATTACK ROMERTIEN

Oh no, he confused you, so HE MUST DIE? Let's not ask for clarification or anything.

QUOTE (Razenth @ Feb 25 2011, 07:54 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I don't like how Romertien keep focusing on the differences between scum and town when we've already established that everybody is part of a faction and every faction is basically scum to all the other factions. It's not like eliminating all the rebels magically wins the game. It just means there's another set of 'scum' to take out. With that in mind, I will ORDER ARMY ATTACK Romertien.

He's far from the only one who actually makes that distinction, and yet he's the one you voted for. He wasn't even that outspoken about it.

Yuan Shao, Lu Bu, Dong Zhou. Regardless of what the flavor text says, I believe they are our scum characters. Assuming 6/6/6/4 original distribution, this leaves 5 Wei, 5 Wu, 3 Shu, and the aforementioned 3 scum.

I'd agree with the distribution at this point, but I'm less inclined to believe the names. Well. Only Yuan Shao, since there has been no flavour mentioning his name in a day (as with Dong Zhuo--Zhou != Zhuo) or night kill (Lu Bu) yet. I also don't understand how your conclusion was "regardless of what the flavour text says" since it used flavour Tekora posted about changing battlefield.

Obviously Lord Cao Cao will emerge the victor.

I mean, Wu? Psh. You're like Hufflepuff.

sad.gif I noticed, but no one else was voting for you but one person, and then it was so close to the end of the day that if I did or not still wouldn't have put you where you needed to be.
Llesvelt2011-03-02 17:21:56
To be honest, I am a bit wary of killing you off, Diamondais, because I fear you might be Wei >_>

Not that I specifically target Wu or Shu, I'd like to get rid of all rebels before committing to that, but if a Wu or Shu general dies, that's an acceptable loss as far as I am concerned. I think we all feel that to some degree in regards to the two Pro-Han factions aligned against us.

But if you insist.

ORDER ARMY TO ATTACK DIAMONDAIS
Unknown2011-03-02 17:27:08
I'm waiting to see if anyone got anything last night that could be potentially useful before voting, if you don't mind, Diamondais. If we still don't get any clues towards the identities of the anti-Han after the day has gone on for a bit, I will gladly help you fulfill your wish to be surrounded by armies!

I'll echo that. If it comes to that, I can vote to kill you off, but I'd rather wait for a little while...
Llesvelt2011-03-02 17:29:19
I'll change my vote if anything comes up, then.
Kalaneya2011-03-02 17:39:51
I'm on the boat with everyone else waiting for info. If there is pertinent info that would lead us to a better lynch target (Dong Zhuo and co.), we should take it. If not, Diamondais is pretty much going to the be the lynch, I assume.
Ushaara2011-03-02 18:06:35
Perhaps it is just my complete lack of background knowledge, but I find myself getting more and more confused with each piece of flavor text. Could someone explain what happened to Lu Bu/Dong Zhuo? I'm likely having a brain meltdown but the flavor text reads to me as if they'd been killed off or something... Would the roles given to the anti-Han faction change with each time period, with powers remaining the same so that it matches up historically? Yellow Turbans -> Dong Zhou/Lu Bu -> Yuan Shao? Or aside from Yellow Turbans, are they all still in play?

Agree with the 5/5/3/3 analysis whoever gave that, by the way.
Razenth2011-03-02 18:09:52
Xikue, Yuan Shao is clearly mentioned in the opening post to Day 3. In addition, the Battle of Guan Du was fought between Cao Cao and Yuan Shao, which is the major historical event this day represents.

Ssaliss, I agree, others also seemed to focus on town-scum instead of faction-antiHan. However, since I only get one vote, if you would kindly point them out, I'll vote for them.
Ushaara2011-03-02 18:10:26
Ok, bit of thought makes me realise unlikely that roles are being changed. Ignore that.
