Arix2011-03-04 07:22:44
anyway, are we doing anything about Diamondais?
Unknown2011-03-04 07:22:51
- Ssaliss' dueling ability is known as only less than Lu Bu's.
- You beat Ssaliss in a duel.
- This makes it look like you might be Lu Bu.
^my reasoning. It is by no means foolproof, because there very well may be a part to the dueling that we don't quite understand. However, you can't say that it doesn't look at least a little suspicious, there.

Arix2011-03-04 07:29:51
your reasoning is not terrible, however it is incorrect. My ability is to force the winner of a duel to show mercy, I have no special ability to boost my standings in a duel that I know of ( don't know how duels are resolved)
Arix2011-03-04 07:30:27
and keep in mind that I am entirely at the mercy of Tekora's flavor text here
Llesvelt2011-03-04 07:44:07
Who are you, then?
Ssaliss2011-03-04 10:56:00
Actually... I had a revelation during the battle. I won't say who he is, but Arix is not Lu Bu.
Rika2011-03-04 11:09:47
Why not? It's more than we have to go by now.
Anyway, why is Diamondais not dead? She doesn't want in, we have nothing, why waste everyone's time?

Diamondais2011-03-04 11:25:27
I've been asking myself the same, this has been two days now.
Been a bit on the busy side to say something last night.

Vote yourself out? Might be very much breaking character and flavour, but with such a lack of attentive players, what else can be done?
Diamondais2011-03-04 11:31:32
Did not think that would work, but fine.
Order Army Attack Diamondais

Because it's not my place to reveal others roles. He is, however, not Lu Bu (nor any other scum). If he wishes to reveal who he is, then that's up to him.
Tekora2011-03-04 15:39:01
That's a lynch.

As enemy armies close in around her, Diamondais suddenly begins to doubt her abilities to lead her army on the field of battle. Her enemies take advantage of this momentary weakness and soon, she is completely surrounded with no place to retreat. Seeing that the situation is hopeless, she chooses to take her own life as her army is cut down to the last man...
As the battle rages on, Yuan Shao gains the upper hand over Cao Cao's forces, driving them back and utilizing siege weaponry to attack Cao Cao's encampment. While focused upon this, Yuan Shao's forces do not notice Cao Cao's men sneaking behind their lines until their main supply base at Wu Chao was up in flames. Yuan Shao's forces' morale crumbles and Cao Cao takes full advantage of this opportunity, striking out in a counter-attack where Yuan Shao's 2 top generals, Yan Liang and Wen Chou, fell. It is a crushing defeat that Yuan Shao never recovers from as he withdraws back across the Yellow River where he dies several years later, his sons too busy fighting each other over the heirship to defend themselves against Cao Cao's counter-invasion and soon, the entire northern Empire lies united under the banner of Cao Cao.
Establishing his capital at the city of Xu Chang and having rescued the Emperor Xian from the clutches of Dong Zhuo's forces in the west, Cao Cao now turns his gaze south in his quest to unite the empire...

Diamondais was Lu Meng - The Self-Taught Strategist
You are Lu Meng, once a humble Wu general, you dedicated your efforts towards educating yourself and eventually rose to the rank of Grand Marshal of Wu after the death of Zhou Yu. You and your protege, Lu Xun, were the ones who hatched the plan to fell Guan Yu and reclaim the Jing Territory from Shu.
Cunning Plan - During the day, you may issue a duel and add the phrase 'COME AT ME IF YOU DARE!'. The general you challenged will be so angry that they will blunder right into your trap and will lose the duel, no matter the result. The chance of them dying will also be increased to 50% rather than 10%.

As the Kingdom of Wei consolidates its power, Cao Cao turns his gaze southwards towards the Kingdom of Wu and the remnants of the followers of Liu Bei. Pressing his agenda of unifying the empire, Cao Cao moves his armies south, annexing the northern Jing Province and the fertile lands near Shou Chun, at the same time, driving the Shu out of Ru Nan and sending them fleeing to Xia Kou, losing one of their heroes along the way...
Out of options, the remnants of the Shu forces encamp there and send an emissary to discuss an alliance with Wu. After careful consideration and no small amount of posturing, the forces of Wu and Shu ally themselves in order to face the superior military might of the Wei Army. The resulting battle is arguably the most famous military engagement of the Three Kingdoms Period, the Battle of Red Cliff!
It is 208 AD and with 12 armies on the battlefield, it will take 7 to overwhelm an opposing general!

Sylandra was Zhang Fei - The Equal of 10,000 Men
You are Zhang Fei, youngest of the Three Brothers, and bolsterous Tiger General of Shu. At times, your foolishness and love for drink can act as a detriment to you, but in battle, your ferocity is second to none, as evidenced by the time you held off the entire army of Wei on your own at the Battle of Chang Ban, earning a reputation as being as strong as 10,000 men.
Ferocity - During the night, you may target an individual to attack by PM'ing me 'ASSAULT'. Your assault will be so fierce that they will be unable to act that night. You may do this 3 times during the game.
Three Brothers - The bond you share with your brothers transcends both Earth and Heaven. As such, you can communicate with them freely during the game.
You win when the Kingdom of Shu holds a majority over the combined forces of Wu and Wei and there are no threats to the sanctity of the Han.

Hrm. The following-of-slash-deviation-from the flavour setting is a bit confusing.
Still stumped on how to root out remaining scum. And where has Solanis been? I don't think he's posted for a while.

Either Shu is just unlucky or someone is specifically targeting people loyal to Shu...

The other kingdoms?
It's likely just luck, since scum don't care.
Unknown2011-03-06 05:23:14
Yeah, Shu is kind of hitting a tough break here. Poor dudes. At least I'm not one of them!
And some people definitely seem to have disappeared from this game. What up, bros? Where'd you go? I mean, I don't want to be like "herpa derp let's kill the inactive people, forever" because that really gets us to nowhere but troubletown after a while, but when we talk during the day that seems to get us nowhere too. What do?

I'm here, but there's nothing to talk about because (unless there's some stroke of brilliance in the setup that has not yet made itself apparent) this game is not very well-designed.
Rika2011-03-06 05:56:28
Pretty much what Shamarah said.
