Edit: This summer I'm hoping I'll be able to get a job with FSWEP (Federal Student Work Experience Programme) in Ontario, I should probably add to my earlier post.

I work for the government and have access to all of your personal financial information. And when you call me on the telephone, I have the authority to view that information.

Customer service for an insurance company, for the last six years, as well as more recently becoming a college student. Laid off recently, so now I'm just a college student, with an intended major in computer science (and hopefully a focus in augmented reality, mobile computing, and/or social networking).

If you need someone with great customer service skills and an introductory level knowledge of java programming, I'm your guy!

Funny enough, aside from being a student, i work in a bakery. I do some baking, but mainly just help customers. I can bake pretty well though, I just don't like to!

Software developer, by hobby and profession.

Work on a Java web app by day and Rails apps by night.

Currently, high school student living independently... work in the school's bake shop stand thing. >.< Meer.

Been searching for a job since September. Really hoping I'll finally at least get an interview. I know those jobs are there! Go go minimum wage and fast food. >.>

UPDATE: Just got hired yesterday to work at a gas station. $9/hr, 40 hours a week. Not bad for a temporary job until August when i return to school. Should give me some capital to buy a car.

13 years as a Network Administrator, full time, for the same company. That raised some eyebrows at my summer school Guess I should be gald they think I'm young, eh?

Lab tech -> unemployed -> course assistant for a professor -> NGO aviary work wherein I did everything (feeding, research, play time, cleaning, construction, cooking, fundraising....) -> Lab Admin/tech at a food science company where I get paid more than twice as much as I did at my original job yet have way more fun, get fed super-awesome foods all day, and even have my own corner office and full benefits.

Interweave theater lighting tech and volunteer chef (for homeless shelters) with all of that for the past 7 years.

I work in a box office (super-)part-time.

Call centre, full time.

Student. From time spent amongst various other activities, I feel qualified to call myself a part-time psychiatrist, editor, freelance writer, motivational speaker, warrior-poet, and a full-time long-distance boyfriend.

As of August 18th, I'm unemployed and looking for work. Am waiting on a call back about a potential job as the assistant scholarship coordinator at my college.

This year is internship year. This is my highest paying job yet, but I only get to do it for a year . Then it's back to paying for my education again.
