Can't say I do.

Everyone picked a role before the game started, then the scum roles were RANDOMLY ASSIGNED and given on top of the current powers. They would still keep their old powers, however.
Ssaliss2011-03-23 18:47:45
How is that a fifth option? That'd mean they chose not to use their nightkill, i.e. C).

OBJECTION!

Not at all. That means they COULD have used their nightkill last night, but one of the two people I fingered... actually used their nightkill instead of whatever protection ability they claim.
Ssaliss2011-03-23 18:54:49
Ah, right. That could be a possibility, I suppose. A bit farfetched, perhaps, but possible.

Not quite. At least from my perspective, that might be the most logical option. At least from the data I'm seeing, as well as the flavor text.
Shamarah2011-03-23 19:31:47
Yeah, I don't think the possibility that we have scum with normally pro-town powers is at all out of the question, especially since in a setup where the town has so many powers the scum is going to need something to give them a chance at winning.
Ushaara2011-03-23 22:53:36
While I'm not convinced by Tekora's argument against Casilu yet, I am inclined to think that she might have an individual win condition which might explain why she needed Phoebus/Gulcasa's permission to use her power. So Casilu, can you state explicitly that you win only with town?

With regards whoever her mason partner Elena is, I'm probably being too influenced by flavour here, but I do think Elena wins only with town. Can these mason types exist? With different win conditions for each member?

In the meantime, since Solanis appears more active, I will UNVOTE.

Yes, I win with the town and have no other win condiitons.

Also, yes, I have seen/killed mason teams where one has a different win condition than the other.
Ushaara2011-03-23 22:58:18
By the by, I'm still curious about the acquisition of items. Ileein you got Arath/Nessiah's book after he targeted you, Ilyssa you picked that gem up from his corpse and Tekora can steal them? What can you do with them now that you have them?

Hrm, fairly rapid positive response which does help alleviate my suspicions. I'm going to go back to my wait-and-see approach for now then so.

Oh, right. I forgot I'd voted. Unvote.

I'm not sure! An undine might want it. I'm still looking for an ankh, though!
Arix2011-03-24 00:56:35
Wait, Ileein has Nessiah's book? *beg*
Kalaneya2011-03-24 02:11:37
Ooh, ready for some item drama to unfold. I must live vicariously since I have none.

I am pretty sure the only thing I can do with it is open it. The vague warning about consequences has prevented me from doing so thus far. If no information is forthcoming by next Day I may give it a shot.

I'm still not convinced that Caerulo is town, especially after Arix successfully rezzed Razenth, which scum wouldn't do since it provides an extra layer of protection for Ssaliss. The likelihood that we have overlapping town powers (i.e. a doctor who can protect once EVERY phase and a night-specific doctor) is low.

Vote: Caerulo

Why Caerulo out of the two? Arix has shown a rez power, not a protective one. I'd be more inclined to side with Caer since he has at least proven to have a protection power. Not to mention, scum can use rezzes too.

Casilu sure seems to be trying to push the Arix lynch

Mostly since you're the only one who hasn't proven they had the power they claimed to. You have yet to prove that actually have a protection power.
