Sanctuary is a protective power, the rez is part of sanctuary. and you have yet to prove that Caerulo actually protected Ssaliss last night, or that his action today was anything more than a oneshot power.
Casilu2011-03-24 04:56:33
Oh, Ssaliss, as a passing thought... did you use (or try to use) any night powers last night?
Casilu2011-03-24 04:59:02
I keep seeing you in this thread, Lilia, no thoughts?
Arix2011-03-24 05:00:05
what Arix is saying is, if you're going to lynch, do so and stop wasting Arix's time. If you are not going to lynch, find someone else to target. Arix suggests Casilu, but that's mostly OMGUS on Arix's part
Unknown2011-03-24 05:12:29
There are a few reasons I'm suspecting Caerulo over Arix - one, it was pointed out that the former's protect card isn't character-specific. Two, there's no way to prove that he protected Ssaliss last night - if his card is one-use-per-cycle as I'm suspecting (due to power overlap and my own card restrictions), he can demonstrate the protection every Day while he attempts to kill someone every Night, which is what I would do if I were scum and had the option, honestly.

That said, there's also no way to prove Arix's claim of night-protection powers either, but his flavour and actions seem to be consistent and fairly townie so far (e.g. reviving Razenth). As scum, he didn't need to reveal his rezz power at this stage when he might not be lynched and it could come into handy later on.
Unknown2011-03-24 05:13:15
Come in handy, rather. And yes, would be nice to hear from Lilia, I keep seeing her in here!
Lilia2011-03-24 05:21:16
I'm mainly just confused at this point. Caerulo and Arix are both equal parts suspicious and not-suspicious in my mind. I'm leaning a little more towards Arix at the moment, but that's mainly because of his attitude, and look where that got us with Razenth.

What's bugging me the most is that we seem to have two doctors. Is two doctors strange?

Very. There can be one condition where you can have two doctors active at the same time... which is why I asked the Princess that question.

I'm not very familiar with the series, but are there 20 or so character specific cards? We do have 20 players, so some people would have to have generic cards, right?

As for protecting at Night, well, we can test that too. Both Casilu and Tekora have a night kill each right? How about both Arix and I protect ourselves, and then Casilu and Tekora each uses their nightkill on one of us. That way, whoever lied, dies.

Not anymore. We both used it for this daycycle for the voteblocking.
Unknown2011-03-24 05:44:22
Oh right, I forgot about that condition.

Well, if all four of us survive this Day and Night cycle, this is something that we can consider for the next Night then.

We could just lynch Razenth again. teach.gif
Razenth2011-03-24 05:49:06
What, and let me choose who to lynch? I'm cool with that. Just give me warning, you know?
Razenth2011-03-24 05:49:52
Before we do anything, I want mod confirmation of Tekora's power usage.
Unknown2011-03-24 06:25:02
You guys seem to have forgotten about roleblockers. A roleblocker could have blocked the nightkill last night, or also screw up Caerulo's suggested plan.
Unknown2011-03-24 06:25:59
@Rag: changed my mind, as in about being okay with being lynched? I'm still okay with it, if we do go down the lynch a lurker path. But probably not going to happen this day anwyay.
Unknown2011-03-24 07:17:42
So.. Are there actually any sane reasons why we should be lynching Razenth again?

Possibly. If Arix's res made him switch sides ( or we suspected such).

I did not, no.

Mostly since you're the only one who hasn't proven they had the power they claimed to. You have yet to prove that actually have a protection power.

This post here makes me err. Arix used the correct incantation for the Sanctuary card (which isn't character specific either.) and it did a rezz. And you're complaining that Arix did not do a protection. As if he needs to be able to prove it during daytime. That Caerulo can protect during daytime doesn't mean Arix would be able. In fact, to me it'd suggest otherwise as that'd make their roles exactly the same. If we think Arix raised a scum, then we kill Razenth. A doctor is far more valuable to keep around than an executioner.
