Ssaliss, why are you targetting me when my role as Milanor and town has already been all but confirmed?
...
How am I acting weird for pursuing my suspicions and not wanting to let up on it, even if everyone else is ignoring it? Also, she might be confirmed as a night killer (by myself, might I add) but how can you confirm she's a TOWN nightkiller? You can't.
tl;dr: Knock it off before you get me lynched, Ssaliss.

How are you all but confirmed as town? I think the only mention of you being town was from Razenth on page two or three... and that's hardly "all but confirmed".
As for the second section... No. We don't know that Casilu is the town NK. Nor do we know that you're a town thief. That logic goes both ways, you know. for all we know, you could've simply been fishing around for a card you were happy with, and now that you've got a NK, you won't steal a card again.
And the finisher? Wow. Just... wow. No further comment.
Tekora2011-03-27 02:02:24
Ssaliss, look at the facts.
My role lets me act as not only a roleblocker but an investigator as well. I have done nothing but be cooperative with the town and provide information freely.
Put two and two together, Ssaliss. You are trying to get a town-friendly roleblocker/investigator lynched.
Will someone with half a brain get in here and tell Ssaliss how stupid it would be to do that?

As far as you've said, you only steal cards from people to get their powers. That's hardly investigative; otherwise, you would've known if Casilu was town or scum. It might, at most, be an indicator, but hardly anything even resembling an investigator. Unless there are parts of your powers that you haven't told us about, or if you have another power.
Also, how does your role let you act as a voteblocker? That's something that only came with the last card you stole (which, incidentally, belonged to Casilu), and as such nothing that was inherent to your role. If you want to make the voteblocker argument, then that point goes to Casilu, not you.
As for sharing the information you have... not doing so would be incredibly stupid, wouldn't it? If you claimed a card did something other than what it actually does, the person you stole it from would reveal that more or less instantly. It's just common sense.

He said roleblocked, not voteblocker. Huge difference.
Though, I haven't seen any roleblocking effect since I still was able to use my power today.

Gonna have to side with Tekora on this one. Milanor, with such a self-identifying day power, is most likely town, unless there's a smalltown setup which honestly from the flavour, seems unlikely.
It's investigative in that it lets us know what card that the person he stole from has.
(It's not really a roleblocker, Tekora, if they can still use their card power even if you've 'stolen' it.)

...so being able to discover people's powers doesn't count as being an investigator? Damn, consider me re-educated.

Not voteblocker, roleblocker. Learn to read.

No one's forcing me to admit what the powers that I steal are. I'm doing that entirely of my own volition and probably against the wishes of the people I steal from.

There ARE parts of my role I haven't told you about. But I'm going to keep that secret for now because it's for the benefit of the town to do so.

It's a roleblocker in the fact that I also steal items and prevent their use by their original owners.

Well, this is the first time you actually admitted that part, so then you must have my Jack Hand.
Ssaliss2011-03-27 02:40:31
For me, an investigator is someone that actually helps us find scum or town. Sure, you learn what their powers are, but that doesn't help town one bit, apparently. There's no reason town wouldn't have a nightkill, for instance, and even powers that seem scummy (such as Razenths power to redirect votes) apparently aren't assigned only to scum.
As for the voteblocker/roleblocker mixup... Sorry, I did read your post a bit too fast, it seems. However, you hadn't really displayed any form of roleblocking at that time, which likely contributed to me misreading it.
What I find the most interesting, however, is your responses. I make one vote, and on shaky grounds at that, and you go ballistic. That certainly doesn't help convince me that you're town. Heck, if you hadn't responded at all, I wouldn't have pursued it at all, and it most likely would've gone mostly unnoticed. As I've already pointed out, I don't know any more than anyone else (in fact, probably a bit less, since I don't really have any powers that I can use), so I doubt people would follow that one vote anyway.

Ushaara2011-03-27 02:43:09
Could I request a vote count? With all the voteblockings, Razenth returning, sleepy people and Gleip's double vote thing, I'm confused.
As for myself, I don't see the discussion about Tekora/Casilu or Arix/Caerulo being resolved, unless new information comes to light. I'm tempted to go back to the lynch-a-lurker method, just so we have a shot at gaining that information.
Also, I thought it was known already Tekora had your Jack Hand, Casilu? I had taken it as a given, at least.

I said it, but I don't believe that he ever admitted it. I would loved to have been proven wrong, though.
Gleip2011-03-27 14:27:33
I'm curently thinking that Tekora is town because of his aggressiveness. It's apparently a town trait of his.

Actually, go look at one of the games where he is scum. He acts the exact same way.
Gleip2011-03-27 15:51:03
Which game? In the Umineko game, it was him not acting raging and angry that allowed Kira to pick him out as scum.
Diamondais2011-03-27 15:54:19
Would have to agree, he more often loses his composure and acts this way when he's town, rather than scum. Wouldn't necessarily say he's absolutely confirmed townie, wouldn't believe anyone is without doubt unless a trusted alignment checker was around, but he's definitely not the most dangerous today.

Can you find me a game where he is town, so I can more easily compare day 1s?
Ushaara2011-03-28 04:14:54
Hrm, no real progression. So are we back to lynching lurkers then?
Unknown2011-03-28 04:24:51
FoS Ushaara for constantly bringing up and trying to steer the conversation towards lynching lurkers despite 23 pages of posts.

I represent about 1/6th of that. About half of you are 17 posts or under which is how many Kira has. Shamarah is in single digits.
Shamarah2011-03-28 04:45:44
Yeah, I have admittedly been lurking a bit because I've just been watching this multiple doctor claim thing unfold and haven't had much relevant to add.
Since once claimant has demonstrated some kind of protective ability and the other has demonstrated a resurrection, I feel we should probably hold off on lynching either one of them (which is frustrating, because now we're back where we started without any more information except potentially outing two doctors).
Think I might need to go back and reread the whole day...
