Wait, did I misunderstand? I thought Tekora's card made it so that it added the current votes on him to someone else's vote count, rather than the current votes NEEDED on him to said vote count.
Tekora2011-03-30 09:24:35
That's what I read too. Number of votes on you = Number less votes it takes for someone to be lynched. 6 votes on me = 6 less votes for Casilu to be lynched. Right?
Unknown2011-03-30 09:26:09
If you look closely at Razenth's ability from the role reveal from his death:

QUOTE
Chariot: Twice in the game, you may incant "O iron centaur trampling the Battlefield... Thy spear pierces steel and flesh alike." and give a target. That person will end up as close to a lynch as you are at the moment. For example, if you are two votes away from being lynched, that person will also now be two votes away from being lynched. This only works if the person requires more votes than you, so you may make a person needing 3 votes to be lynched down to 2, but not a person needing 2 votes to be lynched up to 3.

Unknown2011-03-30 09:27:24
So now, if I didn't read the ability wrongly, it's as though Casilu only needs 6 votes to be lynched instead of the usual 8.
Tekora2011-03-30 09:27:54
Ok, so by that logic, if Casilu is now 2 votes away from lynch, the votes on her right now (three) are enough to be a lynch.

It doesn't make Casilu require -only- two votes to be lynched, it means Casilu only needs two -more- votes to be lynched.
Unknown2011-03-30 09:32:02
Also, if you really wanted to kill Casilu instantly, you should have unvoted, voted for yourself, use Chariot, then vote for Casilu.
Tekora2011-03-30 09:34:04
Well, I tried anyway. It's up to you all now. Just do me a favor if you end up lynching me, and when you see that I've been telling the truth all this time, remember tomorrow about how Casilu played you all like a fiddle. Also, take a good, hard look at everyone who jumped on me for the difference in flavor text. (I'm looking at you, Gleip.)

G'night. (morning, actually)

Erm, update to unofficial votecount:

Unofficial vote count:

Casilu: Tekora, Ssaliss, Llesvelt, Solanis (4)
Solanis: Vendetta(1)
Caerulo: Silferras, Ushaara (2)
Tekora: Ssaliss, Gleip, Gleip, Razenth, Ilyssa, Ileein (6)
Arix: Phoebus (1)

With 15 in the condition to vote, it takes 8 to lynch.

Based on Kira's last votecount, we have about 13 hours left before deadline.

You've got me twice in that list. I'm voting for Tekora, not Casilu.

Also, Tekora's lies and shenanigans makes me even less convinced that he's town. I'm curious as to how Silferras knows he's town?
Unknown2011-03-30 10:17:54
When did Tekora lie?

Can we get an official vote count?

QUOTE (Tekora @ Mar 30 2011, 10:42 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Since there's enough people here to get a general consensus...

I still have Razenth's card from yesterday. Yes, I'm aware I said that stealing one card replaces another, I lied exactly for this purpose.

If I use it on Casilu right now, it will lynch her. However, it will also end the day. Thus, just so no one can point fingers at me for a ninja-lynch, who here supports my using Razenth's card to lynch Casilu?

He even said he lied himself.
Unknown2011-03-30 10:25:28
Oh. I don't remember him saying that. Okay.

Looks like Caerulo's interpretation of the card is correct.

I still think it is foolish to lynch Tekora given that he is Milanor - confirmed by power and mod.
Kiradawea2011-03-30 10:25:52
Vote count. Vote count. Point out your count mistakes here.

Casilu: Tekora, Solanis, Chariot, Chariot, Chariot, (5)
Solanis: Vendetta (1)
Caerulo: Silferras, Ushaara (2)
Tekora: Gleip, Gleip, Razenth, Ileein, Ssaliss (5)
Arix: Lilia, Llesvelt, Phoebus (3)
Razenth: Ilyssa (1)

With 15 in a voting condition, it's 8 to lynch.

Him being Milanor doesn't mean he's not scum though. Since we have absolutely no idea of the identity of the scum team, as well as Kira's statement that the flavour of the game couldn't be used to figure out the scum team, saying "He's Milanor, he can't be scum" makes no sense.
Unknown2011-03-30 10:40:29
I'm Milanor's bodyguard. I'm town. I think it's safe to assume that Milanor is town.

And meh. Here's the deal. We get no role reveals (see Arath) unless they die while my card's been used on them, or if I use it on them while they're dead.

Unvote

Vote: Casilu
Ssaliss2011-03-30 10:51:33
Either way, I think I'll do like this... According to what has happened, it shouldn't actually hurt anything (that is, unless Tekora lied even more).

The Shadow of the Wind snatches all... even the treasure of the Gods. Tekora!
Ileein2011-03-30 11:14:31
Role backup is enough for me. :/ Unvote: Tekora. Casilu is next most suspicious in my eyes, but let's allow actions to resolve before clinching.
Unknown2011-03-30 11:19:41
Wait, Ssaliss, you can do that? Even if you can, wouldn't you just... steal Tekora's Steal card?
Kiradawea2011-03-30 12:53:35
In the midst of chaos, yggdra puts on her Dream Tiara, the symbol of Fantasinia's ruler. The holy power of the Tiara channels through her and summons forth a ghostly image with the appearance of Milanor. The ghost rushes towards Tekora and snatches something from him, before the ghost returns to Yggdra and reverently places something in her hand. With an approving nod, the ghost is dismissed, fading back into the ethers.
