I'm pretty newb-ish myself and didn't quite understand scum tells either. If Shamarah isn't going to play and will be modkilled anyway, shouldn't we just go vote for someone who won't be?

I have no clue, I just feel like the lynch is town's tool and it would be a waste to use it on someone who's dying anyway.

The modkills might not happen if we lynch someone before deadline, plus there is no way he'll be replaced by another player.

Besides. You can either speak and do some scum tells we can analyze, or you can stay silent and we can lynch you for lurking. Lurkers are also great targets for vigs that aren't Kira.

Way I see it, we can either vote for Shamarah and lynch him, or decide not to and sit around doing nothing some more until the deadline. So I'm going to Vote: Shamarah.

For the hell of it I'll even use my power. It'd be nice to know if it's just a double vote or something more, it wasn't specified.

Meh. Fine. After Ileein's behaviour I'm all but convinced about scummitude, but fine. If you guys want to lynch inactive, then that's fine with me. Ileein will probably be killed tonight anyway, but I'm going to have to waste my protection anyway.

Night quickly falls, and it looks to be a very long night.

(I'll be busy this coming Sunday, so this night will last longer than usual. This is no excuse to not sending in your night actions though, so get them in.)

The delay of dawn is makes for a painful wait, as everyone knows that with dawn arrives yet another attack by the Asgardian forces, forces they have yet to defeat. When the blare of trumpets finally echo through the air, they move to defend, though spirits are low as they have yet to be able to identify the agents of Asgard among them. However, the battle is interrupted by an earthquake. Lava flows out from the earth and confines Silferras to a coffin of magma.

With 14 alive, it's 8 to lynch, and deadline kills everyone with less than 35 posts. Except Arath. He only needs 25.

What is the deadline?

While we're at it, let's make sure there's plenty to talk about. Unless, of course, you all want to push the lynch and trigger those deaths!

I am also an SK. I did not expect that Ileein was another, but whatever.

No, that won't kill anybody. Kira wasn't insane enough to give me a day kill.

More will be forthcoming in a bit, I just wanted to post this so I know I would beat Caerulo to his protection cast.

That's right. Arath's alignment is indeterminable. It could be that this was done and prepared to throw town off - to give you all a reason to feel uneasy about him. Or is it the other way around? Is this done to give you some shred of hope that trusting him isn't a completely stupid idea, and to give him a chance to shroud his scuminess without blanketly and falsely labeling him as town?

It was I who killed him on day 1. With that, there were no other kills targetted during the night - not even against Yggdra or her protectors. Then, when day 2 dawns, I killed Razenth to play against my own suspicions regarding who my targets were, and Tekora mysteriously winds up dead.

I then tried to kill Ileein tonight, and Silferras winds up dead when I'm not paying attention. Clearly, someone is going far out of there way to ensure that no true information is revealed about their role. Hmmm.

I'd love to kill Arath again tonight and see if the fiery deaths would suddenly stop, but somehow I don't foresee you allowing me to do so. However, I think you can understand why I've come out like this.

You see, Arath's ability is pretty useless apart from finding the SKs. It shows who they are and little else. That makes him quite dangerous to Ileein and I, but everyone else is not an angel, and has some link to Yggdra from her trials to become queen. Granted, some are more suspect than others - Gulcasa, her sisters, Aegina and Luciana (who are apparently here, but acting as one...), etc. And those closest seem to be the first to die.

Arath can build up quite a bit of faith in himself with his skill if he roots out the SKs, and can easily get town to follow him along like sheep. It's pretty hopeless to expect that I'll survive to the end of the game without detection, so what else is there to do?

Burn the Fallen One. I can't punish you all, but he is the most vile amongst you, and stealing victory from him would be more satisfying than taking it from any of the other "scum".

Arath, got any explanations for yourself?

The fact that Arath's alignment was unknown could simply be because he was reincarnating. That argument certainly won't convince me.
