About the lightning thing, I don't know if we should put stock into that kind of flavour text. Ilyssa's attack is fire-based, and we know that a bunch of the kills have been fire-y but that doesn't necessarily mean Ilyssa = killer.
Least I hope not. That would be like, 5 killers? AWESOME

I want to be a killer too.
Oh wait, I technically can be.
Unknown2011-04-12 16:25:56
Actually, that's hilarious. I AM another killer. And I have to kill someone to use my kill, so I'm like, a double killer.
I think at this point we're better off asking the people who don't have some way of killing people to raise their hands.

Llesvelt2011-04-12 16:27:25
Well, Llesvelt can't kill, aside from taking part in a lynching that is.

A rain of ice falls down, twirling around Vendetta before they try to constrict. However, a shield around Vendetta protects from the numbing cold.
Ushaara raises a broom into the air as stones rise up from the ground and form themselves into a golem. The golem lands before Caerulo, sending quakes even as it strikes the ground.
(And to the rest of you, if you have a problem with the game, you take it up with me. Keep it out of the game thread, unless you want to be modvigged.)

Kira, how far away is the deadline mentioned in your post?

Though I would certainly hope that an archangel akin to yourself would have the courtesy to not lie, as I have quite a reason to suspect that you assaulted me. Someone struck me with lightning this night, and I am now unable to use my card.
Well, that's very convenient, isn't it? I would certainly hope you would have the courtesy to not lie at this point either, but we know your history very well.
Make no mistake. I'm still going to try to carry out my objective - that anyone should think otherwise would be folly. As to the means of how and when I might fall is another matter, however.
And really, you all are perfectly welcome to go ahead and follow Llesvelt's lead. It wouldn't bother me one bit. But I'm sure some of you realise by now that bypassing additional discussion for today might just get me what I want anyways.~
Kiradawea2011-04-12 17:12:38
It happens 24 hours after the last post, at least until I set a proper deadline if I don't see you guys discussing.
Unknown2011-04-12 17:14:40
Post, post, or you'll all be toast!
Arath2011-04-12 17:33:20
Oh, but why should I lie when I can acquire what I desire through honesty? After all, you may claim it to be beneficial for me to pretend that I have been rendered impotent, but there truly is no such benefit. However, it may be quite beneficial for you to manipulate town into giving you another day.

That you can't use your skill at all to confirm what I've said and observed means your cover as town sticks better. Worse comes to worse and you survive until tomorrow, you might have to reveal one of your own minions just to see if it indicates anything special beyond name worth pointing out.
If anything, it's to my benefit to force you to use it on someone like Caerulo or Arix, who aren't even a part of the Yggdra cast, but are nonetheless present. Such would prove that neither of them are lying at all, with certainty, and seal the deal on how expendable you really are.
Arath2011-04-12 17:50:04
Heh. Very well then, we shall see what happens.
Unable to live, Unable to die. Arix, thy punishment is to repeat life endlessly
As much as I am loathe to demonstrate a lack of power, it seems the wiser choice at the moment.

I'll be back later tonight to continue talking.

Diamondais2011-04-12 18:00:38
Wait, so what are you doing to Arix?
Kiradawea2011-04-12 18:01:53
Arath attemps to speak the incantation for his curse, but he submits to violent spasms with every attempt.
Arath2011-04-12 18:04:54
Oh indeed. It is far more interesting to watch wits with you. There are far too few mortals who share our vigour.
And what I attempted to do, Diamondais-kimi, was to remove Arix's illusion, thus revealing if he truly was Byff or not.

Oh okay, I got a totally wrong impression from the text.

Clarifying the point I made about being another killer before I left for class: the second half of my power is that I can choose to sacrifice another Bronquian (which I'm assuming is whatever my character is affiliated with in the flavor source? That wasn't really explained fully and I don't know who else that would be regardless) to turn it into an instant kill instead of a stronger vote. So, I choose to kill a certain person and then because I killed them I am able to immediately kill another person. I decided that I really didn't want to do that pretty much immediately though, so unless someone else wants me to just go nuts and kill some people, I won't be using it.
Unknown2011-04-12 18:58:22
Insignificant yet somewhat amusing note: the power to kill off two people at once is appropriately called "Genocide".
Honestly, seeing that so so many people have the power to kill, it tones down any suspicions I would normally have towards serial killers a bit. I have to admit that even before Vendetta spoke up, I was feeling a mite suspicious of Arath. But, I just don't know. All the powers and items and things are sort of making everything fairly foggy for me. Don't really want to drop out of the game though, with all of the danger of dying out so quickly town is in, I would feel guilty making us -1 unnecessarily.

And I did indeed pick up the Ankh. Excellent workmanship no? It took quite some time to create them.
Then would you mind letting me look at it for a little bit?
Also, as much as other suspicions are being raised I think it's safest right now to just Vote: Vendetta and worry about others later.
