I've made an attempt at it once or twice. Frustrating!

Then you'll appreciate why, under the right circumstance, one simple word can cause involuntary eyetwitches:

GLARE

(In high school I was helping my awesome art teacher put some pictures of paintings from the art show online. The only problem was, we didn't have a scanner. We spent so many hours trying to take pictures of paintings without big obnoxious glares ruining them.)

I started an artisanal well over a month and a half ago and I just... haven't found the heart to finish it. It's almost done! I said I would finish it for this month! And then I moved and now I can't find it, blah.

I finally found that old artisanal! Now... to decide if I want a background or not. I'm afraid it might take away.

I also tried painting the Fire Lords this weekend. The initial result was lovely, and then I ruined it. I must try again with acrylics.

This is why I can't use non-digital paints (besides not having any room/money for the stuff.) It's too easy to mess things up and not be able to fix it.

Well, I could have saved it. I just lost my temper and didn't.

I finally finished that silly artisanal. smile.gif Awesome to have done, though I won't be posting it until later.

Good! Better than me. I'm going without a submission again this month.

Kind of disappointed that I didn't place in August's. I was so pleasantly surprised to see my two previous pieces win, and even more so that this one didn't as I thought it was far better than the previous two. I think where I may have gone wrong was in that it might've been considered too generic. However, I did make a conscious effort to make it Celestian and Lusternian. Oh well! Time to start working on next month's!

Posting link since to embed, big photo is big: http://www.lusternia.com/sites/lusternia.c...8/arian%202.jpg
This is Arian Diluculo, Crimson Feathercakes.

Edit: Also, if anyone wants to go "DRAW ME!" and send me their description along with robes, etc, I'd be more than willing to give it a shot. I definitely need more practice with drawing from descriptions and stuff, rather than from other references.

Submitted an artisanal that's been lying-around half finished since September. I had a great vision for it and it's not nearly what I hoped it would be, but I will have to be satisfied with it for now.
