Overly hopeful, I do wish some of these artifacts would be release (whenever that may be) at a price that is more reasonable than what they went for.

Sure, there "could" be an option if the Admin really wanted to (might mean more revenue I guess), but I'm all for sharing and so limiting one person from buying multiple things, no matter what, would be fairest in my opinion.

I'm mainly upset by the poor sportsmanship of it. Even if you were planning ahead, thinking you -might- move, what do you need two for?

Denial value. But denying someone something for the slight chance that they may buy it for denial value is going to harm those who want a censer for legitimate reasons. Such as wanting a full set of censers. (No, I'm never going to be able to afford that I think.) Really, you're better of just banning Krellan from auctions, and that's a quite inelegant nonsolution.

Yeah I'm sure Krellan is planning to move to Celest, Gaudiguch and/or Hallifax in the future. He even bought 2 Fire censers so he could share them if/when he moves to gaudi. I bet he was the other person going for those Hart censers, in case he decides he wants to join Seren again.

To some of the people here: Auctions aren't places to play nicely. You want something, for whatever reason, you bid for it. To Syridean: Just mentioning your intent to bid for something in the presence of a city mate doesn't entitle you to the item. You probably just made it easier to estimate what they're going against for someone who wanted to 'snipe', anyway. Agreements on what not to bid on are something among people you know and can trust, and don't consist of one person saying 'I'll bid on that.' and expecting everyone else to just agree. And, to be honest, 20-30 seconds are alot of time, so you were... a tad slow there.

That said, crazy prices...

I have my reasons for wanting one beyond collecting them.

Anyway the auction system is actually fair as it is now. Any proposed restriction would actually make it less fair. Everyone has the option to obtain a large amount of credits, be it by wasting real life money or spending ungodly amounts of time obtainting credits in game, participating in bardics/artisinals or coding a system and selling it for credits.

They were able to get a the full trade-in value of their lvl3 crit runes, so actually 3.3k.

As I said: I made a mistake, which I won't be repeating. It's regretful that I need to consider it a mistake, but if that's the way it is, that's the way it is.
