Speaks for itself, list things you wish you had known sooner. Especially stuff that is "common sense" and not covered by the help files. I'll start with some examples.

* An esteemed item must not be at 100% in order for you to be able to offer it.

* You can carry a keg in your inventory, and refill from it. It is not a piece of furniture built in a room.

* Newton is a gold heaven. After that earning gold might get more difficult for a while. Enjoy it while you can.

You can refill vials using "empty" to denote empty vials, instead of searching through to see which ones are empty and refilling by vnum.

It took me a little over a year of playing this game to finally figure this out, and is probably the one thing that stands out the most on my mind for this subject.

RN - I honestly checked every new post with NSTAT and READNEWS

REFILL EMPTY FROM - I used vial numbers. Honestly, I realise I'm slow.
KARMA - wtf, there's a command to see my karma stuff?!
WARES - No longer must I scroll through giant shops with a billion bins!

RN (and such) - It took me a while for this too, but I was worst and thought you had to go into the news room to read things
Wait, there is a karma command? Learn something new...

On my list, most of my things are things on more of an interaction base. Somethings like most people (of your org) are not going to get too mad with you for making minor mistakes.

BIRTHDAYS too. Go wish your enemies a happy 150th!

Also, if you just want to inrift an assortment of herbs and can't be bothered to specify them, you can liberally spam "INR ### HERB" and it will just hit them all one by one.

Unless your rift is full of that herb. At which point you either have to buy pocketbelts or turn off selfishness so you can drop whatever herb it is mucking it up.

Can you not confirm drops? I know you can give items to people by doing GIVE WHATEVER TO PERSON CONFIRM in selfishness now.

GIVE and PUT are confirmable.

Drop is not; at least it was not the last time I tried.

If you're in a cartel, but not a trademember, you can still look at all the designs with cartel (name) catalogue, or cartel (name) list to see accepted and designs being worked on, respectively.

You can combine alllll the picking up of pilgrims into one say. I use to have keybindings for one each of the bards, pilgrims, and scholars. Then sister showed me how I could just say, I'll take you to the peak, the library, or the stage in one go, haha. I'm so slow.

INR ALL HERB works too. No need for an arbitrary number!

this. I have an alias that says 'I can lead you the the stage, great library, or avechna's peak'

I just have a different one for whether I'm trying to pick up a bard, scholar, or pilgrim. Saying all of them at once doesn't make sense to me considering it's plainly obvious to your character where the person wants to go!

Something I really wish I'd known sooner...the INR ALL HERB, WARES , RN, REFILL EMPTY, those are all things I was like AUGH HOW DID I NOT KNOW THAT about. I guess another one I need to add is NSUM! I used to be totally screwed if I was looking around for an older newspost until I realized that one. Oh, also that you can RUB MERCY (etc.) for an enchantment, and don't have to target the ring or whatever by number.

GHELP SELFTRAINING, I didn't understand it, and so I didn't know how to use lessons for skills. I could've saved myself from a lot of drowning and punching and kicking finks when I could've blasted them. To think that I was an Aqua that drowned a lot..

You can use confirm to drop items with selfishness up.

-PLANTS shows you how many of each herb is left. (why isn't a note about this in AB HERBS FLAX?)

ditto about 'empty' being a usable noun-- also, being able to SIP BROMIDE rather than SIP VIAL or SIP OPAL (I think this is now in the Intro?)

I agree, the current intro is pretty sparse.
