I'm pretty sure it's just strength of influence (as in, it literally does more damage), which is less ego use and more oomph. It probably just isn't enough to put you down an attack.

What I've found is that-- with the exception of charismatic aura, which is godlike and the Most Wonderful of transcendent skills as far as I'm concerned-- influence bonuses are rather small and you have to really pile them on to actually see a difference.

Mhmm. I'd say that for mid to upper level, not many of them count much. Wetfold is nice, as is Charismaticaura.

Neither! Use a gust enchant for all your forced movement needs.

Useless in distort, I'd say get Kicking if you can spare the trains.

If your beast is going to be using mana, then it will help. Regenerate isn't wowomgamazing, though. And Balancing should stack, yes, but eh. I wouldn't really consider it worth it. If you're getting summoned in the first place, you're doing something wrong!

Assuming this is for combat, I've heard gust is good to have. Use it at the same time as your gust enchantment so you get a second chance if they resist. If you're planning on using the breath often, go for regenerate mana and put the extra 20 trains in mind to raise the mana pool. Me personally, I would get trotting and galloping, because how do you ever get anywhere when you have to walk!? :P
