Oops, my bad. I never knew that about influence!
If you have splendours, then full plate is probably making approximately a 15% difference in cutting/blunt damage. It makes absolutely no difference if cutting/blunt damage is not involved, and in a number of cases splendour wearers will be at an advantage with proofs.
You might want to figure out how many of those warriors have life runes and regularly earn themselves h/m/e blessings if you are not.

I don't mind their kill rate, and by that I mean my kill rate in comparison, really. I just think it's silly to stick with the archetype of the frail wizard when designing classes with decent int, cha, or both. Warriors are tankier than casters because of Surge and plate armour; they don't need their base con to skew higher as well. Warriors have twice my health and kill at least as fast. I'm not sure how much armour differences affect each hit to say for sure, but I'd assume I take at least as much damage as they do.

Uh, what? Everyone can get runes and blessings, yes. Higher base con and Surge still put you a good chunk ahead. Casters sacrifice damage stats for con, warriors don't. Everyone sacrifices con for speed, so that's relatively even. I don't see why the disparity exists, especially when Surge already fills the "I've sacrificed mental capacity to be buff" stereotype. This is kind of a tangent from my points on bashing, though, I just hate how the races have been designed.

They can be important points to bear in mind when making these arguments, particularly if you're going to lump higher con races into "warrior tankiness" in general.
