May's best. Maybe early June.

Also: Montreal?
Diamondais2011-05-09 09:10:04
Don't have a preferred date or time yet, over the rest of the month I will be busy looking for work so June is probably best. Doesn't help I lose most of the month to exams.
Rancoura2011-05-11 20:21:50
I won't be coming back from Smalltown NS until around early July... if something ends up happening around that time, I'd like to go to a downtown restaurant or pub somewhere... I miss the big city. =(
Diamondais2011-05-11 20:38:09
Well, I'll be in Toronto (or reasonably nearby) until the beginning of September, I'm flexible.

Toronto jumpfire.gif Or maybe even Hamilton. I live in London, and Montreal is waaaaaay too far.

My first thought upon reading this was that Toronto is even further.

Also Toronto or Montreal is OK but no Hamilton =( It's like... industrial city and pollution.

Also I know tons of awesome places we can go in Toronto, better if the weather is nice.

Boy, I'm from L.A., you know nothing of pollution.
Lyora2011-05-13 04:52:00
Well I still think Downtown Toronto is pretty bad...every time I visit I get black/greyish boogers =/...so I don't think I want to know how bad Hamilton and L.A are
Lyora2011-05-13 04:53:19
not that what I just said should deter anyone from coming =3
Unknown2011-05-14 17:37:46
Surely there are more people in the GTA or the Great Lakes states that would be interested in exploring the great Canadian landscape??
Diamondais2011-05-14 17:43:42
There might be a few more, they probably just aren't on the forums. There are three others I can think of, but they no longer play.
Rancoura2011-06-04 13:55:32
Is this still open? I know for sure now that I'll be in the Toronto area from the 4th of July to the 12th. A drive to Hamilton won't be too much of a hassle after driving from the Scotia, so I'll probably be able to make it if it were held there. Montreal definitely not, though.

Edit: And if there is pickiness about downtown Toronto, there are some nice places in Ajax (<20 minutes east of the city), which can be reached by GO train.

I think we're still doing this, Lyora's confirming the dates? I think we're gonna meet in Toronto too?
Lyora2011-06-12 17:29:01
Ah sorry, yes we're still doing this. Based on posts it will probably be in Toronto and I guess since Rancoura's only around from July 4-12 it will be on the weekend of 4/5 or 11/12...assuming weekends are preferable. Anyways, if people can post things we can do or things they want to do in Toronto, that would be great since I don't really know Toronto that well.

EDIT: Crap, I was looking at the June calendar...so weekend of 2/3 or 9/10

If you want Americans from nearby to attend, don't pick the 4th/5th. That's not going to work well!
