Toronto's a 7-hour trip from here by car, so it would be a bit of a stretch (to the point where it's unlikely). Montreal's a lot closer, alas.

Just as a note, I wouldn't be able to make the 2nd/3rd since I'll be leaving Nova Scotia on the 3rd and won't get there until the 4th!

Ok so July 9/10....I'm thinking the 9th since Sundays are generally quieter than Saturdays....anyone have objections to this weekend of prefer the 10th, please post.

Also wanted to ask what people's budgets are. Wuylinfe is organizing some places we can go, things we can do...or at least he should be! And I'm sure that information will be helpful. The only thing I've been wanting to do for awhile now in Toronto is visit the zoo.

Sunday might be better since I have absolutely nothing planned for that day yet, but Saturday is still doable. Budgeting isn't of too much importance for me.

The zoo is kind of out of the way and nothing interesting is close to the zoo... I was thinking more along the lines of Toronto harbourfront, but if the non-Torontonian people want to do some touristy things that can be arranged as well.

We can always start at Union and go from there, Downtown is always fun! (Think it was Synl I was talking to that said Union anyways, it's easy for me to get to and it's a good centre point)

Yea, that's true...we can also get those day passes which are good for 2 people on weekends =D so we could do whatever we want. Though we probably should have a general idea of what's around. I have no clue but I'm fine with just following people around >.> Saturday and Sunday are both fine with me too but I was under the impression things close earlier on Sundays. Maybe that's not true for Toronto...Also, what's a good time for people to meet up?

There's... let's see. The Royal Ontario Museum, The Science Centre, lots of theatre, Ontario Place, the Zoo, the Hockey Hall of Fame, Canada's Wonderland, Medieval Times, there's a lot of stuff to do in that area. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend because Lyora doesn't agree that the whole event should be scheduled around -my- needs.

Nobody wants to go to London and have you cook for them. You'll make everyone sick!

Pfft, who said I was going to cook for you? I just think going to see www.rockthepark.ca would be awesome. I'll already be there for work anyways, and the bands playing are pretty awesome. I also work in a bar a couple blocks from the venue, and could probably arrange cheap booze.

I do live right by the Science Centre if that's everyone's choice.

Man I love the Science Centre... haven't been there in ages. Since it's already mid June can we get confirmation of numbers and start voting on what everyone wants to do? Maybe use Doodle?

I just found out that I'm like, double out of the meet I have a stupid work party followed immediately by an 11 hour shift on the 10th.

Saturday or Sunday would be best. I work 3:30 to midnight Monday to Friday. I have to take the train in to Toronto, it's about an hour from where I am.


Can we meet at Union station? We could have signs that say

"LUSTERNIANS GATHER HERE" or something clever only Lusternians would get. <.<

I do have money, I don't think I'd want to spend any more than 200$

I think we should gather at Union and maybe all head to a restaurant of some sorts to grab somethin' to eat, chat and get to know each other. Then, BAR HOPPING?!
