I'd not be surprised if the Blue Man Group would fall into Gaudiguch, not Hallifax.

Fine by me, if we get these guys. biggrin.gif

Shifting your paradigms on what can be considered an instrument since 2016.

Oh hey, Blue Man Group in San Diego! Wooot.

Everyone knows this is what hallimonks will look like.

That's one of the best ideas I've yet seen for a Hallifax monk weapon.

I don't see how the style would really be different from Shofangi
Lendren2011-09-22 18:47:57
Because you don't throw shofa. There's really no similarity at all, beside having two separate things in their two hands.
Enyalida2011-09-22 19:18:45
Shofa also generally aren't rings.
Jack2011-09-22 19:28:00
Shofa are based on katar, 'cept curvier, right? They really have nothing in common with chakram at all.

Makes me wonder how they'd handle a thrown weapon spec in Lusternia, though. I might try mocking up a skill list for it when I have time...
Kiradawea2011-09-22 19:35:17
The same way LoZ handles boomerangs. Not realistically at all!

*go homing boomerang!*

Well I assumed they wouldn't be thrown, that seems silly. Like Bond-villain-esque.
Hazar2011-09-23 05:14:34
Homing crystals.

I guess you haven't recognized the reference yet. In case you're wondering the movie in question is Tron. The original movie is quite dated now, though, so if you watch it you might find you can't see the cool past the corny. The recent sequel was a little flat. But the cool of the discs themselves is not really related to what's less-than-right about the movie itself.

Anyone remember the movie equilibrium? I always thought those guys would make for good Hallifax monks.
Donovain2011-09-28 02:57:28
OMG Equilibrium Clerics for Halli Monks . That might be the one thing that would get me to attempt a monk. dribble.gif jumpfire.gif
