Getting things done, getting things done, getting things done ALL DAY LONG and there are still things that need doing.

It amazes me how many people abuse the snub function.

I have to laugh that when we were playing Iosaivengenace, Ixion kept telling us to lynch Ssaliss for being too quiet. Well... guess why?
Ixion2012-02-02 09:10:08
Ssaliss had you snubbed or something?
Edit: Ohhhh looks like I have Ssaliss snubbed. I wonder what he did to earn that one.

I wonder that too :( It's not like we've really ever spoken or anything.

Hi ho, hi ho.
Ssaliss2012-02-02 12:11:49
Yay Final Fantasy!
On a completely unrelated note, my shop might not be as well-stocked for a while.

I don't receive my copy until tomorrow. :( :(
Ssaliss2012-02-02 12:29:48
Hmm. If you're buying it from a physical shop, try going there. It was planned to be released tomorrow here too, but they actually surprise-released it yesterday. No guarantees, of course, but if it's nearby, might be worth a shot.
Kagato2012-02-02 12:49:42
Meh, won't be getting it for a while. I be ze stereotypical "broke student" now, so I need to make do with what I have, or trade in some old games.

WHAT. WHY HAS THIS HAPPENED. WHY. :( :(
(It was ordered for me as a present and this person, rather than pre-ordering for delivery, pre-ordered for collection in store, so no chance of me getting it before the official release date (still tomorrow, apparently). Sniff. :()

I haven't really cared about FF for a long while now, but, that made lawl. Is that how the numbering works now?
Kiradawea2012-02-02 17:23:40
Only for the "true" sequels.
Ssaliss2012-02-02 17:43:17
Basically, every FF game is isolated (mostly; there are common themes, but you generally wouldn't feel out of place if you picked up any of the series without having played the predecessors). There are a few that are sequels though; games that take place in the same world, with the same people, as a previous game. To my recollection, that first happened with FFX, which spawned FFX-2. FFXIII is the second to do that, with FFXIII-2 (and another, FFXIII Versus is planned).
Kiradawea2012-02-02 17:51:42
That's not quite it. There are other Final Fantasy games where more than one takes place in the same world. Vaan and Penelo have appeared in what... three games now? None of those games are thought of as sequels to the others though. Then again, those other Ivalice games aren't standard FF games either, with the two "sequels" being Revenant Wings and Tactics A2.
Ssaliss2012-02-02 17:56:14
Yeah; I don't count Tactics etc to that list. Just the numbered FF's.
Kiradawea2012-02-02 18:06:13
*nod* Hence "true".
