Ok, wtf is tvtropes?

It's a website about tropes.

Often on TV, but not always.

You should check out the Lusternia page, if you haven't already

TVtropes is utterly uninteresting and I honestly do not understand how some people get sucked into it.

I've looked at it and it just makes no sense to me at all.
Neos2011-07-17 17:44:06
TVTropes is all consuming. It's like Wikipedia but worse. Cracked.com is a lesser version, since there's only so many other articles linked on one page.
Sometime last week I had between 30-40 TvTropes articles opened, most either connected/about Doctor Who or Sins of a Solar Empire. Then finally I was able to pull myself away and close the tab group that they were all located in.

Do lightningbugs = fireflies? Cause that's cool. I approve.

But Glom gets poison? The damage that you can't proof robes against, or sip a potion against? Like you can for lightning damage?

Still, fireflies, yay!

Aren't the kephara-illithoid half-breeds agonizingly deformed or something?

There's kephera-illithoid half-breeds? Where?

Undervault when part of the Illithoid quest is done, I think.
Eventru2011-07-18 00:51:09
Illith-Keph hybrids are agonizingly weak, physically, and wholly abominations to both people. However, psionically, they are monstrosities who could probably rival even a King, if not a Queen (without the elixir).

They rarely live past infancy, however even the lingering psionic presence of a dead infant is extremely powerful.

I have adjusted your sentence to fit my own feelings. The same statement can apply to any number of sites or stories, really. It's all a matter of preference.

Tv tropes is a great way to scope out a prospective new undertaking, be it a new game to play, or a possible show to follow. Having a catalog of the basic plot structures and pitfalls (With or without spoilers, take your pick) can save you a lot of time. It also cool to know about the subject and see what other people noticed that you may not have.

I agree! I, for example, don't like tvtropes but love Cracked.com

Ah, the metagame, that glorious game within played from without.
Qistrel2011-07-18 12:56:41
I almost wish I had gone with the traditional glowbutt kephera so I could be a lightning bug druid that shoots lightning bugs from her cudgel with lightning painted on her face.
Qistrel2011-07-18 14:55:26
Now I want to customise my normal (cutting/blunt) cudgel attack message so it shoots ladybugs at people.

They bite you. With their sharp mandibles.

QUOTE
Brennan Stormcrow holds the spine of a great feather up high and says, "This gift will pass to the new Chosen One of Crow, who must sing the Song of Returning in the ethereal branches of Glomdoring's dark heart. Glomdoring itself must decide who the new master of Blacktalon shall be. Choose wisely and may Crow guide you."

Some of the dreams are so cool!

QUOTE
You dive low, shrieking and crying out as you descend into the canopy of the forest you have known as home since birth. With talons extended, you kick and claw into the midst of writhing thornbeasts and loamadores, struggling as you struggle - and you know, instinctively, this fight could be your last. This day, this fight, could be the last. A shadow passes high above, and you know Crow, great and glorious Crow, fights beside you. The painful death keen of a dying harpy fills the air above the forest, and as the canopy rushes towards you, the realization settles in that it is your own.
