I don't even have a stockroom, so it doesn't make any difference to me. I was complaining about our lack of villages, and the fact that I was the only druid who thought it might be a good idea not to let all our trees fall over from old age.
I know you're not the only one, but the rules about who can touch them are sufficiently restrictive and byzantine that most of them won't risk it.

...Wait...is Raezon having a secret affair with ?! :o
Well we all know where this is going...

(Did I get Raezon right? I imagine Him to be a big tidal wave of dismemberment and haunted house music)
He has smelled of wet cat at least once, but mostly old leather and cigar.
This is Raezon:

Raezon is the most interesting man in the world?!
I actually didn't find him very interesting the one and only time I interacted with him. Although I did get a favour out of it, after listening to him and Rathan debate about blah blah blah for an hour. So he seems nice enough, I guess.

Being his avatar does have its benefits.

What's the point of trying to join a new guild if the members seem totally uninterested in recruiting or at least getting to you know you... perhaps I am going about this the wrong way *dilemma*

I hope this isn't about the whole tour thing from yesterday :(

I only stockpiled it until there was enough to make breaking into an enemy village worth it.
You know you can sell turn the lumber into villages that normally don't buy it. It'll be overpriced in the village itself, and you won't get as much money for turning it in at a lumber mill (half I think), but the tithes will still be made and the village will stock it. Works for any comms in a village that's not normally bought by giving it to the npc at the comm shop.

This is not true. There are some villages that normally don't produce lumber that will buy it, but Ptoma and Rockholm aren't among those. They don't produce and they don't buy. If I am misunderstanding what you're saying, please try to explain more specifically what you mean.

I get very concerned whenever I see something designed to make people guild-advance via punishments for not attempting to rank up.

No it wasn't that entirely, I think it's a build up of general frustration from trying to fit in again, but meanwhile there's another place that's more familiar and people have actually asked me to come back! Which makes it harder to do the former. Anyway, I will try again next week :)

Kialkarkea:Personally I am definitely NOT keen on 'punishing' people for not being able to rank up, I know all too well that Real Life always comes first and that among our numbers are University Students, parents and the like, some people simply don't have time and try to do it at their own pace.  They should not feel forced to work on advancing at a set rate, it will take the fun out of it for them and make it feel like a 'second job' rather than a game.

I didn't realize the some don't buy or process lumber. Is this a bug, or meant to be that way? I was always under the impression you should be able to sell anything even if the village doesn't naturally produce it or have a specific npc for buying it.
Just sounds like an oversight in forgetting to put those comms on the list of things the general comm buyer will accept.

I don't think it's a bug -- if it is, every village is bugged. Each village has certain items they produce and certain items they can process. I'm sure you've noticed that the wares are different in each village. The things missing from each list are generally what they neither buy nor process (there may be one or two exceptions). It makes perfect sense to me. Why would underground mining villages have the facilities to process raw lumber or fruit or trout, or whatever the omissions happen to be. It can be easily argued either way.
Regardless, there are plenty of unguarded options where she can sell lumber/buy back a considerable portion of it. Since the controlling org still gets a tithe, I doubt anyone would mind.
Turnus2012-02-10 21:13:03
I never really bother checking comms in villages. If I need something I shop around just for that. Bugger all if I care to track each comm in every village. I thought every village could process everything for mechanical reasons, so orgs could actually get access to everything even with just one village, but whatever. I'll just gracefully admit defeat.

Was not aware we were having an argument, just trying to correct misinformation. *shrug* Whatever is right.

Here is a better topic to discuss - Why not just take down the forums permanently AND restrict players to one character? Problems or suggestions can be emailed to support.
You neither need to read the forums nor play. It's hard to take you seriously when you are so obviously childish. Feel free to go away.

You know what makes me laugh? Taking nearly half an hour to locate a site, because I couldn't remember how one of the words was spelled, google sites being stupid, and being too lazy to login/message the owner about the site.

Raezon already said that its time to move on to other topics. If the Temple Invasion/Hydra incident comes up again, I'm upping warn levels. Please find a new topic to tweet about!
