Taught my beast galloping. Even though I have stag totem for sprinting.

Just noticed this:
I have never stepped foot in Ethereal Glomdoring, let alone attacked a daughter of night. What? And how did I go this long without even noticing it had happened...
You are an enemy of the Free Alliance of Glomdoring.
You were enemied on 20th Dvarsh 316.
You were enemied by Svorai.
The reason for your enemying: 'attacking Daughters to distract those of
Glomdoring from the claim of Talthos.'
I have never stepped foot in Ethereal Glomdoring, let alone attacked a daughter of night. What? And how did I go this long without even noticing it had happened...

Should try to resolve it ingame.

I am. It's just I thought the fact that Qistrel is a pacifist was more widely known. She's been shouted at for not doing anything to defend Serenwilde. And its weird how I didn't notice the enemying. Is this the reason Glomdoring have been harassing me on prime?

Probably yes - people generally avoid bothering non-enemies and known pacifists. If you are enemied, it suggests that you did something to merit being such, which generally loses you pacifist status in most peoples' minds. (Not speaking for all but certainly this is how I look at it, though I admittedly am not the most jump-happy of folks). One person who was enemied but wasn't killed much was Xiran, who people tended to debate out instead - though lately she's been involved in combats and lost that privilege.
It likely won't be too much hassle to get it fixed though. Bug Celina IG :)

You're not the only one. I believe Glom has a habit of enemying blindly any member of an 'enemy' org that pops into mind, ala oh they're from this org, they must have been there, right? When in reality you're a staunch nom-com and would never survive..anything.. and was in fact logged out of the game when said events happened. And any attempts to resolve ingame are met with uh never, just because you're a member of said org., literal rl year(s) later :(
Diamondais2012-02-11 16:18:21
More likely remembered her on plane during a raid, but maybe not that she wasn't in the raid itself. It happens, I once got enemied to Magnagora while I was gone for over a week because someone used my name in an illusion. Just go talk to the Ambassador, or someone else on the council, and it'll get sorted. It's not some super hate on for all Serens/non-Gloms. :P
Xenthos2012-02-11 16:25:49
Svorai is not the kind of person to enemy willy-nilly.
Now, what is possible is that you were following someone who ran into EthGlom (this actually happens rather disturbingly often), and thus got yourself included in the enemy status.
We may not like removing enemy statuses for people who are remaining in enemy organizations (because come on, what benefit is there to us? It's not like we need gold and it's more of a risk than a gain), but you generally have to be caught doing something fishy to get it tagged on in the first place.

Yeah, I've definitely had some unpleasant alt experiences where I went very suddenly from defending to raiding, because the person I was following disregarded or forgot me and just took me right into enemy territory with them. If you're not paying close attention to where you're being lead, this does happen.
Qistrel2012-02-11 16:36:14
I'm probably far too attached to my not being enemied to anything status, which is why I'm upset.
I'm pretty sure I was influencing commune guards at Ethereal Mother during part of that Talthos revolt, so maybe people saw me and assumed I was with the others? So, new plan, don't go anywhere when there's a revolt.

Yeah, it's quite possible they just saw you on WHO and assumed you were involved.
Not that enemy status matters much when you're in the opposite org anyway.

The "getting enemied via following someone into the wrong place" thing apparently happens a lot more than I thought, weird. That's the reason for my one and only player-org status, too. Let's be pen pals!

You play a minor second on a finely-crafted violin and direct the disharmonic notes towards Bernice
Murkle.
Blood trickles out of Bernice Murkle's ears and from the corners of her eyes.
You shift the reserved damage of your last strike forward.
Bernice Murkle hunches over in agony, her skin sloughing away in a putrid mass to reveal a hideous
abomination beneath.
You have slain Bernice Murkle.

You have been slain by the Dread Lord of Contagion.
You come back into focus as the blur illusion vanishes.
You become visible once more.
Your illusory glamour you have woven of yourself melts away.

Xenthos:

In my experience, this is not actually true. She enemied me for debating people during a village revolt. Glomdoring, in general, is quicker to enemy and slower to forgive than most other player orgs.
Not that this is a bad thing for a place called "The Merciless Forest" and all. It's really something that people should see coming.
Rivius2012-02-11 22:22:07
Yeah...Glomdoring is kind of known for enemying people for the most bizarre reasons. I recall a few people getting enemied because they defended their own plane from a raid by Glomdoring. I mean feel free to do what you want, I suppose it even makes sense RP-wise, but don't deny it now :P
