More and more often, I log in, put up all my defenses, and then do nothing but business and politics and socializing for the entire day. :lol: I could have stayed defenseless for that!

Haha. I just set up a new defense mode for hanging out at the nexus. It has third eye and that's about it.

I actually def up so rarely that I don't even know how much lovashi I have in my rift right now (and have never drawn anything more than dross power). Thirdeye, Deathsight, done!

My hanging around the forest defmode is thirdeye, deathsense (because I like watching people die), wolf and stag.

I need to learn how to do that.

I'll often do a 43 power defup, and do nothing more than watch a play before logging out.

It's not like it's ever helped me when I get randomly jumped, anyway. :lol:

Just make sure you make it very clear that you don't take kindly to that kind of enthusiam. You need to break them early, or you just might end up with someone who takes pride in their role, and that's nothing your org needs.

(Seriously, you've already spent more time bitching about this than it would have taken you to just repay the power.)

I would be a terrible power minister. I'm would be waaaay to layed back about people repaying power. I probably wouldn't even ask until you were something like 100 overdrawn.

Oh, I don't really care to pay back the power. I would be just as annoyed even if I had paid back the power. It's just ridiculous to ask people to repay power for stuff like Ascension. We aren't living in the time when everyone had <500k power. We have enough power to be wanting to throw it every few months into an Ascendant who will go inactive anyway.

I have nothing against ministers doing their job. However, there is a reason why there are exceptions made for raid defences, villages, domoths etc. I like to think that Ascension, given its nature and frequency, is more important than any of those.
