Really, I overdrew as well and it's not a big deal. Just message the minister and explain to her if you can't pay right away. 6 power is something you could make off pixies, so no biggie. I think we're still quite down some power from when we raised Wobou (after we raised Aerys, we got back pretty much all that power in no time), so maybe our minister's trying to make the special effort to get back to that point.

Yep. It's specifically written in that if YOU don't message the minister about any overdrawing that's legitimate, you have to pay it back (unless it's guards or discretionaries). If you fail to do so, even if it's for ascension, it's assumed you just overdrew.

I've hit yellow endurance while hunting once before. Don't remember what I was going after, but I was pretty amazed at the time too.

I remember runnning out of endurance constantly as a newb, even with breathing up. The endurance rune was one of the first artifacts I got.

We aren't living in the time when everyone had <500k power. We have enough power to be wanting to throw it every few months into an Ascendant who will go inactive anyway.

I have nothing against ministers doing their job. However, there is a reason why there are exceptions made for raid defences, villages, domoths etc. I like to think that Ascension, given its nature and frequency, is more important than any of those.

I would agree with you on the whole ascension thing being necessary to overdraw except, Serenwilde didn't really support one of their own and therefore really had no need of power to do anything other than grief. Aside from that, it is more the principal that there are rules to follow and that is what the ministers are for. Considering all things, I imagine that your essence is worth more than one and could easily have been repayed and you would not have looked like a baby by complaining on the forums about something that took less time in game to solve than it probably took you to log in.

I hit yellow (and red) all the time even with kirigami refreshes every hour from movement endurance loss.

It's 6 power. Seren had nobody attempting to gain Ascendance. We didn't state we were going to allow power overdraws. Untwist your knickers, spend ten seconds on an elemental plane, grab a couple essence, and call it a day.
