Doesn't really make me feel any better about it. I suppose I'll just poke my envoy about it rather then whining in tweets anymore.

When you switch to a radically different perspective, it can happen that you suddenly realize that things weren't really as good as they looked from your original perspective, and that people from the other perspective weren't just complaining for the sake of complaining; they were complaining cause they had solid, legitimate reasons to complain that were trivialized, ignored, or dismissed out of hand as factional posturing.
