I feel like it went down around the time ironhart started with the griefer rhetoric
Turnus2012-04-23 02:25:36
Psh, so last week. There is no ironhart anymore.
Unknown2012-04-23 02:26:43
Ironhart is easier to write than non equinox

Sometimes this forum doesn't let me c/p and I hate that.
Kick and run is stupid and annoying whoever does it.
I don't feel like we have a zerg. We feel like we are going against tough odds every single time. We don't feel like we're much of a threat to anyone. If we were, we would have more domoths and stuff. Equinox dominates the top tier, which is what matters.
If we try to take on Glom/Gaudi, and they have to call in Celest, we have to consider that a minor victory in itself.
I wasn't talking directly to you, Shuyin or Sidd. I know you find your enjoyment. You've been around long enough that you wouldn't bother anymore if you weren't enjoying yourselves. Maybe I am speaking more to our perception. Let me switch it around then, and say that as opposed to you guys not being able to feel good -- we can't feel bad. That's a pretty important thing to have in terms of retaining a playerbase in orgs that are not on top. Either way you take it, the dissolution of alliances was a good thing in this respect.
Everyone wants to play the "our org is smallest and we achieve the most with what we have" card as a source of pride. In my fairly limited involvement with Hallifax, I feel like we have a lot more mid level people willing to give it a go, and if you want to say that makes us the larger org - fine. Stronger, no. Also, speaking as a person in the org, it doesn't seem that large. We're barely at the point where we can offer a challenge, and sometimes we still walk in and insta-die, and sometimes we do still just look at the odds and go, yeah, not a chance, and give up without giving it "our all." These things are hallmarks of weaker orgs and less morale. I'm not going to say we're weak and we suck. It's neither true, nor do I want anyone inside or outside Hallifax to feel that way. The division is still clear, however.

I hate to tell you but Hallifax (and gaudiguch) both have the new entry handicap. Both utilize guilds at a higher par than the original ones. Either org could win with fewer people.
Need a super fast mini piece of prood?
- Balestone can easily clear a room.
- Snafu can greatly hinder a group as well.
Compare these to any other skill, then look at the power costs. Both of the new orgs have stronger skills (similar to how glom did until people started using them). The difference is at least Hallifax does not seem to have envoys ready to fix that.

Sojiro:
I think we're all forgetting that the main point of employing Mag math (Magematics or Magthematics, whichever one's punnier) when it comes to counting fighters, dictating what orgs/alliances should and should not feel good about, and/or being aggressively pro-org is that they sure keep these forums lively.
So we should all probably take things with a grain of salt.
But while we're at it, Akui made a great post that accurately conveys my own personal feelings.
Edit: the term "Ur'math" has also been offered as another alternative to mag counting.
Accidentally hit 'like' instead of 'quote' on this. Oh well.
Anyway, what I wanted to say:
Magematics
This sounds like something that'd be offered at Hogwarts or something. /nothing-of-substance-to-add

Too late, no takebacks, I post for likes as much as I post for karma on reddit.
I'll just offer my favourite Lusternian joke as compensation, after the one about going Wilde:
What was the Blacktalon's guild name before it got Tainted? Ravenclaw.

AquaNeos:
Remember, you count for 10 people, Viy for 5+ depending on his class. So 15+ people for Gaudi.
Aw, that's sweet (I think).
/ignores rest of thread silliness

Or defending Raezon's godrealm! :)
Lol, I recall asking one of those seren's at least why they came(I know -I- didn't ask for them). Their reply was something like "There was a glom there." My next question was "So if I happened to be walking through ether seren and there was a fight, and I saw someone I didn't like. Could I jump in and help and just claim I was there for X person?"
I got told 'pretty much, why not"
-_- I'm on to you, Serenwilde

Wish there was a delay or something when pulled by admin. It freaks me out getting yanked like that.

Maybe they're arbitrary WTF units.
