Alternating wildly, almost daily, between feeling great and utterly panicked. Even though I've been noticeably absent, forgive me if I take a little vacation from Lusternia after this weekend.

Reminder that this is a game, that you play, to have fun. If you are feeling "utterly panicked" then maybe something is wrong and you need to take a longer break

Daraius is just working on a very large, very awesome project for Hallifax. I think he is paniced more because he wants it to go well than anything else. Though you should know we appreciate you putting so much into this Daraius! Thank you

Heh heh. I've given that same advice to at least two previous MoCA's. I may have been exaggerating a little about the panic, but I agree. One of my big rules is to reevaluate my playing habits when the game starts affecting me on an OOC level. I'll have some major raves to hand out after my vacation, though.

As much as I love RP drama, it's sort of depressing to realize that some sorts of RP drama can never be really resolved due to the mechanics of the game.

I am going to flip my effing lid if my Internet connection doesn't stabilize for one freaking hour. All day long it chugs along just fine, and then the very instant I decide to do something important, it dies.

Yes, the pretty modem lights have been cycling for the last hour. I get a connection for a few minutes every once in a while, but it's just a tease. Same exact thing that happens every time. Halp.

EDIT: Well, I made it through the show without disconnecting, but got shut down during the very interesting after-party. biggrin.gif At least this time I can kind of laugh at the unfortunate timing.

Culture events cause that. I actually had to drive into work on a Friday night to produce Nifilhema's Tear because my connection died about 20 minutes before the show was scheduled, and I had like eight people in the cast plus an audience that included Estarra and two other Elder Gods waiting. Just remember that bit from the beginning of Shakespeare In Love.
