Is it just me, or is there a lull both in the game in the last few months and in the forums for the past few weeks?

I've noticed it too. I remember last year was more active around this time of the year.

I don't know about the forums because I just like to visit old threads to see how people's opinions have changed or get some technical advice or here.

I have my own opinions about what's happening in-game. It's like watching a horror movie - That scene you know when the monster is going to pop out and eat one of the main characters so you close your eyes but just leave a bit open to peek... That's Lusternia at the moment.

What's really weird is the overall population is still pretty much where it's always been. I think there's just a lot more afk-type behaviour unless drama is being stirred up (internally) in an org.

(Which I can't say I'm innocent of. I know I've been avoiding logging in when I know I'll be afk more often than not, but even when I am, it inevitably happens from time to time.)

It must be my presence that creates such activity ripples in the ocean of the playerbase.

The purpose of this post is to guilt myself into feeling obligated to do it, since previous attempts at "Lusternia right after I _____" have ended with it being bedtime and Lusternia never happening.

It has another fatal flaw, in that I also don't watch TV (so I do not know of anything that is actually on, currently).

There just seems to be a bit of a lull in what I can see. Less people posting here, I'm just wondering if it people going to college/back to school busy getting acclimated.

Regarding the game--from the various announce posts, the admin have been busy with bug fixes and feature fixes (and making cool videos at the summit!), but there haven't been any major events in the last few months--at least from what I can see, there might be some more private behind the scenes ones--but even the web site hasn't had many updates (I think Eventru still owes us a part two to the latest Haven's blog), and I was just thinking about that and wondering if things might be crazy for our hard working volunteers as well.
