Back to Common Grounds.

I want to smash people into dust when they say writers can't "burn out." It's like saying scientists can't run out of ingredients for molotov cocktails. You can blow up a lot of things for a while, but sooner or later, you aren't going to have the juice you need for that pretty explosion.

^taken from my Facebook status. It's been a long 9 weeks.

Psh, everyone knows there is an infinite supply of cheap vodka and matches, and anyone who says otherwise has clearly never been to college.

But more seriously, I feel you completely. Two weeks ago I had to write four history midterm essays along with doing all the research for said essays that I had procrastinated. By the time I got to the last one, I was staring at the computer for two hours before writing because words wouldn't come out anymore. If writing words was the only thing I ever did for a living.... Yes, I sympathize with you.

Yea. I just spent fifteen of my precious minutes trying to come up with a response of empathy and identification, but I couldn't word anything properly. 30 pages in a night will do that to a guy.

I'll be in-game early evening tonight, I'll write up something about it, as I did the oral translation for the gang involved.

You open your stocking and pull out a master's paint palette.

I'm suddenly glad my laptop is out for repair. I won't feel bad for not being around for... well, you know.

I must be the only one annoyed with Gaudiguch's need for statues tuned against everyone.

Point that finger right back at Glom mister. They're the ones that started the "Statues for Everybody" trend.

Enchanting mixes a little too well with that part of me that tends to get stuck endlessly doing mindless, repetitive tasks if it helps someone else.

Hmm. Recent announce. I suspect we shall see tactics from the School of Narsrim emerge again. Joy.

School of Narsrim? Educate me while my professor is rambling about the virtues of alcohol.

While I'm not privy to the specifics of the announce, students of the School of Narsrim are expected to exploit unforeseen flaws in skills and gameplay mechanics to create tactics any sane person would regard as dubious at best and outright unconscionable at worst. Students are expected to defend these tactics to the hilt, regardless of how other players or the administration regard them. Remember, the school motto - "It's Not A Bug, It's A Feature".

So hard to find people to help test things out. :(

Just love people who say all the insults they want to say, then snub you like it's cool.

Also, I'm starting to wonder if anyone is even going to be able to afford my 25k unit figurine. Transfering is such a waste it's ridiculous..
