I want something where we can start influencing the event immediately, rather then just slowly all dying of plague for a few weeks.
No one enjoys that part. It's just tedious and discourages login. If you must have some sort of player decline, make it curable.

Nooo Muud-plague was fun! I got to institute quarantine lockdowns and play triage!
Enyalida2011-11-29 20:27:15
Mhmm. I'm generally of the opinion that by the time it effects everyone, there should be a way to get rid of/mitigate/cure it out already. It sucks having to bum around getting smacked by stuff because we aren't allowed to do anything about it yet.
I'd like to direct you to the 'Apathetic Citizens' heading of this.
Phred:
Stuff that gets the jaded and cynical from feeling complacent and passive.

I want that moonchild that Maylea saved from Nocht through the trade of the Eye of Dynara to grow up already and start shooting awesome moonbeams of power from her eyes.

Our TVtropes page is a little too highbrow.
Except for that institute part. Cough cough.

It's populated by grotesquely mutated animals and much of the fauna is alive.
Well, I should hope so!
Enyalida2011-11-29 23:24:08
Alive fauna is definitly a good idea.

Mag is working to fix that!
Ssaliss2011-11-29 23:27:57
Is that in an actual room-desc?
Unknown2011-11-29 23:31:04
Part of the TV Tropes Lusternia entry.
Unknown2011-11-29 23:31:45
No, I was quoting the above mentioned Lusternia tvtropes page. It has a few errors like that, which seem to have been placed by somebody who was trying a little too hard to sound fancy and missed the mark.
Ssaliss2011-11-29 23:33:02
Heh. I was hoping that was the case :P Silly people can't keep their flora and fauna separate, most likely.
Unknown2011-11-29 23:34:27
Flora should generally be an alive thing as well!
Ssaliss2011-11-29 23:40:27
You should come say that to my potted plants :(
Kiradawea2011-11-29 23:42:15
Everyone can edit the page yanno. If there's a problem then fixit.
Ssaliss2011-11-29 23:43:08
But it's much more fun to nitpick!
Kiradawea2011-11-29 23:44:03
True dat. True dat.
But fun is for faithless heathens and terrists. Go fixit. >.>

This way's more fun!
EDIT: I wrote that, fed a cat, sat down, posted-- and was beaten to it. Curses.

And now someone is updating the page even more.
Now what if the tropes that Lusternia have gets a mention on the other trope page as well to make more people curious and interested in clicking the links to learn more about Lusternia. *ramble ramble*

I've already completely stopped paying attention to tvtropes now that I'm finished making fun of people.
