Every time I gird my loins and summon the will to gussy up that article, some chowderhead comes along and pukes malapropisms all over it. Screw TV Tropes - from now on, I only frequent the Fetish Wiki!

Pff, fetish wiki? What, is every single thing, ever, including things that do not actually exist listed there? Back in my day, if someone seemed ignorant of the rich fantasy life of the internet, we just threw them in /d/ and locked the door for a few minutes. They got the idea!

If I wanna broaden my horizons, I have Google at my disposal. I go there to laugh at the freaks who jack off to Fullmetal Alchemist.
EDIT: also would chop off my cock with a rusty breadknife before frequenting /d/

It's not so bad. I go there when I need a laugh. Some (most) of it's absolutely hilarious.

Right, err, getting back on topic... Xena got Demigodess in style:
Xena swings her leg high into the air at Thalkros's head, sending him reeling.
Unable to withstand more punishment, Thalkros collapses and dies.
Thalkros has been slain by Xena.
You gasp with the realisation that Xena has reached the level of Demigod.
Xena's body glows briefly before exploding in a bright light.
Xena leaves to the ether, emanating an aura of immense power.
Having been too much for the mortal threads of Thalkros, he screams in agony as flames engulf his
body and burn it to a crisp.

Enyalida:
I'd like to direct you to the 'Apathetic Citizens' heading of this.
Reading TVTropes is a big contributor to jaded cynicism IMO. Why enjoy the story when you can just critique the cliche's and act like you could write something better. That's a major factor in me not reading it, though we've had this argument before.
In any event, I have a feeling any future plagues or hardship might end up being rewarded, similar to what the Ice Devils attack in the summer ended up having--the more bites you had, the more coins you got.
(I would love to see a plague that we'd have to figure out how to cure--maybe we could have healers experiment with combinations of herbs, and the wrong combinations have disastrous side effects, so it's trial and error to get it right.)
But I won't speculate anymore. All I say is--Amaze me! :)

With my sleep schedule changing to make me awake more in the morning, and other factors having me play less Lusternia overall, my play time is now almost exclusively during off-peak hours. It's really weird. Sometimes, I feel like even though I'm still playing every day, I'm not playing at all!

Most certainly are. It's pouring here, methinks.

Show of hands everyone who thinks the giving tree is gonna be a Lusternian advent calendar.
Called it! And it is fun!

Wait, what?

Wait, what?
Unless something changed since I did it, there is nothing advent calendar-ish about it; no story, just incrementing a counter by one (and the counter is from 1 to 21).

Aeral - Archmage Aeral Ves'ril, Lady of the Shining St (Pool of Stars)
NAMECHANGE ZAERAL PLZ.
Iosai2011-12-01 16:29:45
Note that you can just WHO to show only specific people (matches from the start of the name. "eral" won't back "aeral", but "aer" will).

Since I was the one who brought up the request, what do you guys DISLIKE about it? I thought it would be a lot easier to read if they were done sorted, and he's updated the layout pretty nicely. Like I said, maybe custom options to sort by Level, Rank, etc. CONFIG WHO, or the like.

I just hate that I'm the first on qw for raiding and now the first on who to target. That is all.
Unknown2011-12-01 17:00:39
Actually, I tend to see the bottom of lists first, as that's closest to the latest prompt. And, folks don't generally just target the first name they see on QW/WHO. :D
Jack2011-12-01 18:53:07
Yeah - you're probl'y getting targeted because you're a mage and can meld.
