I downloaded TF2, but as I've never played it before, it might take me a while to get used to.

I am also downloading TF2 right now. I have never played something like it in my life.

I liked tf2 waaaaaay way better before they added all the new stuff (seriously, I cannot even tell what is going on anymore, and all the balance is gone ), but I'll probably play it with people since y'all are getting it. Likely am heaps rusty.

Is it actually free? Or is one of those things where it's free for just a month, or only one hour of playtime, or you can only play half the game?

Free in the sense, that you do not pay for the main game, though there are in-game purchases, and I'm told certain things are blocked off until you buy something from the in-game store.

I've owned the game for a very long time, so I don't know what the difference is for free people. I did buy something from the game store once, but it was just one of those stamp things to support the community mapmakers. I have a bunch of stupid crates I'm never, ever, ever going to buy keys for.

I miss original tf2. But it can still be fun, if played with friends.

Also, on the TF2, I have decided I find the crafting system is very frustrating. What with these class tokens.

Since we're talking about "allegedly free games" like TF2 and so on, I should take the opportunity to plug Bloodline Champions, a fantastic indie game that needs more love (and might get it if the devs manage to get it on Steam later.) (Americans and Euros only though sadly.)

I tried it a while back, was fun enough, but couldn't stick with it. If I ever somehow get a new comp might try it out again.
