Daevos will defiantly be a knight-style warrior, so as far as we've got figured, he won't be able to have two swords anyways. I'm all for flail or mace and shield though (witchking style). I'm actually not sure how this will shake out, have to talk to Fool, but as far as I'm concerned, you should be able to at least use different weapons in your same warrior type, to a more limited degree.

And we decided against letting people dual wield rapiers. It seems unbelievable silly to be thrusting at someone with two swords at once. Sords, perhaps, but those are expensive artifacts.

However, we can't call the basic warrior skill 'knighthood' because it only really makes sense to call the heavy armour wearing warriors 'knights'. Any good ideas for what sort of thing to call it?

That reminds me, I need to put up a basic explanation page for how feats are going to work, pending actual mechanics writeups, bluuuh.

The most common excuse is that they go out into the Void looking for the -other- gods they left behind (or just the ambiguous "meditating" players use.) It even works sometimes, although the last instance I can remember was Charune apparently finding Drocilla (sp) and getting brainwashed.

Whoa, Drocilla? Was there ever any closure to that event? I want more Traitor Gods.

Honestly, I always assumed Auseklis one day just went "hmm, I haven't explored the Void very well, I should get on that" and left.

I think Jadice might be coming back, but meh. I like the idea of having more active gods/orders.

Eventru and Viravain still lack actual symbols. Going to go ahead and assume that Eventru's is a golden crown and that Viravain's is a black rose and/or a spiderweb.

There was not. She since showed up in the histories (we hadn't actually read about her before that, so we had no idea what weird force was drugging Charune and giving him things that stuffed Lisaera in rocks) but no evidence of sending Someone back up there to stuff HER in a rock or similar has become apparent.

If you're staying true to the Elostian persona, he usually only takes on a physical form for BIG DEAL things (in the 12 months, I think I've seen him in the flesh for the last event and when I begged Him to let me get a statue of Him). Any other time, he just moves his attention around but when he speaks its something like "A sonorous, multitoned voice emanates from the aether, 'Blah blah blah' " and all his emotes are things like "A profound sense of amusement verbs from your surroundings" (or something like that).

He totally looks like nothing.

I think he should just make his smiley face button visible and nothing else. Good propaganda! The Collective makes you happy. You are happy in the Collective!

While I know people in the local Kingdom dual wielded stuff, most of the people I knew in the SCA were sword and board. I could be remembering badly, but hey. I remember what dad used, so. I still have his sword and shield. I love them so much. *end nostalgia*
