Brumetower is fine as is, it's limited to only being in 1 brumetower per nightuser, there would be an issue if you could brume every room, but you can't.

and I think finalsting is fine

I am probably speaking out of ignorance, but I generally don't like things that indefintely and completely shut down an entire class.

But it doesn't. You move out of the room with the brumetower. I know for sure druids can give shyness/loneliness to force movement out of the room. Then to put the brume back up, requires shadows and power, so putting those up, they're not attacking.
Just my pov.

What is your definition of 'indefinite'?

You don't appear to be using one known to this dictionary I'm checking.

We can also debate the 'completely shuts down a class,' because it does not, but the indefinite part seems a very significant exaggeration.

Incidentally, there's also mountkick, gust, and all stag users even have headbutt to move them out too. Then there's the other stuff like rads, affs, etc.

MAN HOW ABOUT THAT USTREAM, BOY I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT NEW AETOLIA CLIENT.

I got to look at it while there, and I have to say its pretty epic!

Now lets get back to talking about those sexy admins and the UStream.

I'm waiting on that insta for my turtle Sior promised me over drinks. A box or ten of chocolate might have helped.

What's the Aetolia client?
Ssaliss2011-08-08 23:26:47
In essence, they're remaking Aetolia to disable connecting to it via zMUD etc. and making their own custom client that doesn't have triggers or aliases, in order to put everyone on an equal footing.

As an IRE pilot program, Aetolia's telnet is being replaced by a custom protocol only usable by an IRE client which has no support for triggers, aliases, etc.

Manual away!

*begins sniffing packets and makes my own client able to connect*

This ISN't something the lusty player base is seriously asking for? Without seeing the USTREAM, what's the admin's perspective?

Brume tower doesn't take power, and the balance for dropping shadows is a very short balance, and is not a wasted action, as it enables things like drink as well.. I also have no way to give shyness/loneliness, not sure what you mean there. I guess runes? All of the other things really aren't feasible, seriously. I'm totally cool talking about it with you in the game, I'm looking at options to envoy brumetower, and input (outside of forums where there is lots of showboating/absurdity) would be appreciated before I put it up as a report.

HahahaHAHA, that sounds like so much absurdity, imagine bashing like that! You'd have to slow everything way down.

Made it all the way to level 80 manual, no aetherhunt. It can be done!
Ssaliss2011-08-08 23:51:54
Yeah, bashing is easilly managable with the internal aliasing/targetting.
Eventru2011-08-08 23:55:05
Galleus was the only Producer who didn't show to the IRE meet - so the other producers decided they'd offer up a completely horrid idea (it's not real, but other MUDs do something akin to it) and said if you have questions, problems, opinions, anything at all - e-mail Galleus.
Everiine2011-08-08 23:55:16
EDIT: Hmm, I cannot decide if I am misinformed.
Neos2011-08-08 23:58:27
After some thought, I really don't care about Brume Tower, seeing as how I'm rarely, if ever, in the skies or trees. I was simply pointing out the fact that it does not completely shut down an entire class, and the other thing that was said.

I bashed without a system and some basic triggers/aliases/manualing for the majority of my levels.

Edit:
I was waiting for all the producers/gods to burst into laughter after it was said.
Enyalida2011-08-09 00:00:20
I'm not sure how I would have done medium level stuff without an autosipper, that sounds monstrous.
