He looked around a bit, hiding in the back of the aetherplex. Men and women of different races passed by him, not sparing him the briefest of glances. He turned his back and looked at the different aetherships in dock. Skimming over the different ones, he stopped and grinned to himself, finding the Midnight's Keep. "With any luck, S------ would be on this one" he muttered to himself.
He crept slowly on board, and stood at the deck. Looking around him, seeing nobody, he moved to the side and crept behind an energy collector, crouching next to it, hidden. Suddenly there was a bustle outside. Loud talking, movement, and he looked side to side and drew his body closer. Holding his breath, he heard a group of five people, no, six people move around outside. Perfect!
The aethership lurched, and then broke free into the aetherways. Air was filtered in to keep the pressure stable, and silence once again crept into the room. The man, a Nekotai with a deathwish, poked his head out of the door to see the rooms break off, leaving the empath with her back to him. And there he was! The target, S------ in front of him, on a turret shooting out to the aetherbeasts outside. Cries of success or warning were passed to each other, and the Nekotai slowly crept up to the empath. Silent with his foot steps, he reached out and twisted the empaths head. The ship dropped for a moment, before he took controls. Hiding the body, he created a mask to disguise himself with from the corpse. S------ called back to her, wondering what happened to the :censor:. The Nekotai answered in his gruff manly voice "Yes dear?"
All heads turned. The nekotai ripped off his mask to reveal an unfamiliar, grinning face. With that he stabbed at the empath controls with a knife, breaking the module, before charging at S-----. Each person suddenly stepped out of their modules and attacked that man, forgetting about their duties. At that moment, the aether dragon crashed into the aethership and all was lost into darkness. And as the nekotai with the deathwish died, he died with a smile on his face.
