Back to Common Grounds.

Yes. They can also use robes, of course. They just can't use warrior heavy armor.

Am sure this has been asked before, so apologies for that, but are we considering the data from GUILD SCORE IC or OOC?

(With reference to clans.)
Eritheyl2012-08-28 07:38:50
Personally, I would consider it IC.

The Krokani and Aslarans in the moors, not the villages, they have loyalty to something now? Did they always and I'm just not remembering it? It's been a year since I went there to kill those guys, so my memory could be iffy. I do seem to recall that it was somewhere you could go to get your slaughter on for golds and not have to worry about being enemied to anything. At least I thought I recalled that!

So, I guess my question is: Am I crazy or was it changed?

They've been loyal for as long as I can remember. They're not in an area associated to them though, so you're never open to be killed by bashing them.

Do you get enemied when you kill them? I just don't remember ever being enemied to anything when I killed them. Maybe that's where the confusion comes in.
Ssaliss2012-08-28 13:13:32
Yep. Same applies to most other groups.

They started enemying when denizens started summoning guards, if I remember correctly. As there's no associated enemy territory for either faction, and you can still do turn-ins regardless of status, it doesn't actually affect anything. It's just kind of there.

I swear I don't remember being enemied to anything the last time I hunted them. But, whatever. Since it doesn't affect anything, I'll just ignore it and sigh sadly at my no longer empty enemy box when I get to the slaughtering.

The castle/camp are the enemy territories, so you can be ganked there.

No, I just check. They're all one single area, with no affiliation.
Enyalida2012-08-28 14:53:43
No, they still don't count as enemy territory. Not last I checked.

It's because you are enemied to the org, but they don't have an area that is just their territory alone. You are enemied to the inhabitants but not 'to the land'.

EDIT: Hehe, I just checked too. Yeah, unless you are enemied 'to the land', Avenger still protects you.

Well... that's no fun!

Is there any way to undo crownbond? It seems since I've turned my crown into a magicrown, I now can't attach a rune of absorption to it. Or is this the wrong thing to stick runes on to begin with? Pretty sure it is jewelry >_<
Silvanus2012-08-29 14:49:16
You can't put runed arties like that on some of the trans trade items (splendours, magictome, magicrown, things like that). Probably don't want those permanent.

I wouldn't put a rune on a crown, personally, if you want to have a Magicrown (which it seems like you would). As you will have to choose between your artified crown and your magicrown.

You'd probably be better off putting runes on other pieces of jewelry.
Enyalida2012-08-29 15:29:48
Brooches being the classic choice. No limit on number you can wear, so it doesn't take up any other sort of slot.
Daraius2012-08-29 15:33:03
Do you still have to undress to wear or remove pins? Also, what is the function of pins?

I -think- the awkward layers thing has been fixed. And pins have no function - they're just sort of there.

Pins are baubles and thus can be enchanted with a powerful mind. I like offering an alternative to the classic focus pendant with spiffy focus hair pins.
