Would some exorbitant amount of credits allow me to customize my dice to have a different number of faces? Or a different number of dice?
Enyalida2011-10-29 04:00:09
Dice should let you roll one or both at your leisure. Alternately, magic dice that let you roll 1-5 dice. Or just a small bag of dice. I fully support this.

Bug #20343 Resolution: We do not believe this is true.

Among all the ice enemies, frost fiends are the only ones that move around. Is this intended?

Okay, so... I've never seen any other ice enemies run around. Anyone else?
Aithera2011-10-30 15:40:12
Frequently the smaller ones get killed too quickly for them to have a chance to move. Often while some people are killing frost fiends, others will be focusing almost exclusively on the ice devils, which can somewhat prevent them from building up and moving.

But from what I've seen all the ice creatures do move.
Parth2011-10-30 15:47:11
I can buy that the smaller ones get killed too quickly to move. However, I found a larva and killed it up to ice devils all by myself. The frost fiends were the only ones that moved on me. At the end I had 58 devils in one room. If devils were moving around, they would have spread out well before then.
Parth2011-10-30 15:51:36
Oh, and after I killed all the fiends in that room, I ran around to kill the fiends in adjacent rooms too. When I returned to the first room, there were still 58 ice devils there. Simply put, they don't move.
Enyalida2011-10-30 19:12:31
They do move . It's just slow, and with such a huge group hardly noticeable. Keep in mind they have an equal chance when they move again to just move right back into the original room.
Parth2011-10-30 19:27:45
It should be more noticable with a huge group. I fact, with 58 of them, I would expect at least one to leave everytime they have a chance to. Instead, I stood there happily killing 29 fiends, without a single devil leaving the room. The fiends ran all over the place, and I definitely noticed them.
Enyalida2011-10-30 21:22:26
I promise you, they move. I'll grab the line and post it in a minute.
Kiradawea2011-10-30 21:25:23
Haven't seen devils move, but I'm pretty sure I've seen Manes and Imps move.
Sakr2011-10-30 21:36:40
devils move.
Enyalida2011-10-30 21:55:59
Blessed warmth infuses your body as a monstrous ice devil departs to the southwest.
Parth2011-10-30 22:42:51
I haven't seen that message once. Not even while I killed the 29 fiends that gathered the 58 devils, and those took five minutes to kill. Five minutes, and not a single of the 58 devils left? Either they move so slow they might as well not move at all, or they started to move after I gathered that group.
Sakr2011-10-30 22:52:49
I was fighting a group of them with an icewall to the west. Had 13 in the room, had after 4 min 5 left, 7 left to the east and west. They move.

Thinking of exploring other guilds with a new character or even changing guilds on Estellise... demesne is a bit boring. :( So other than monk, what guilds can do gain entry into combat with low credit investment?
Unknown2011-10-31 03:00:28
Bard is an excellent one. You only really need Music at a high level to be useful, especially in groups. Plus, you get an improved version of Tumble in Acrobatics, saving you on otherwise wasted lessons in Environment!

I switched from Mage to Bard myself, and am much happier now. Bard combat is different and fun, if a bit problematic in 1v1.
Comparison on bard specs here.

Bard does look like fun, No Gaudiguch bards yet hmm... and if I did switch from mage, what would be more painful in lesson loss? Guardians share one skill pool but bards do not :S. But then again if I just need music that could outweigh the bigger lesson loss. :|

Lesson loss is more a punishment for people who constantly shift guilds. The cost is not particularly large.
Guardians generally require either their secondary or tertiary in addition to their primary in order to be highly effective in combat, so you would have a larger investment, and only slightly smaller lesson loss.

Is it just me or did Lusternia just die? :(

Ok, it wasn't just me, but it's back up now!
Unknown2011-10-31 07:00:01
Yep, it died.

Edit: Oh, and Happy Halloween! Mmm candy...
