Perfection = Gedulah, and mercy = Tipheret. http://wiki.lusternia.com/Skills is your best friend

Switch those two around and you're correct.

Is anyone else getting 'And so?'d after every round in influencing debates (with 18, 19 charisma) or am I lagging?
Enyalida2011-11-27 19:30:11
You're probably just lagging.

Yesterday, I filled up my nightmare's feedbag with meatfeed. Then did STABLE HOUSE NIGHTMARE FEED. Today I look at it, assuming it should have some changes, but I don't see anything

It's already enrolled in that stable and paid for at 20 months. Is that overriding it or something? Because while I want to feed it, I don't look forward to having to actively babysit my nightmare all the time.

Also, if I dismiss my beast, will or won't it eat from the feedbag? There doesn't seem to be some way to tell how it's set up (stable feeding versus feedbag feeding).
Turnus2011-12-01 17:34:33
Beast dismiss feed should work, just regular beast dismiss will have it eat the stable's food. Also when you order it to feed from its feedbag you should get a message saying as such, if you aren't getting it then its feeding from the stable. So look for that.
Aithera2011-12-01 17:41:42
Sometimes probing it won't show the changes, but you can still put more feed in and administer reagents.
edit: that might just be collared beasts actually.
Calixa2011-12-01 17:55:13
Tried BEAST DISMISS FEED, will see if that does the trick. STABLE HOUSE NIGHTMARE FEED did house my beast though, and showed the message that the stable hands would let her feed out of her bag.

Didn't know you could see the feedbag status through probing. But it says it's full right now. It wasn't earlier so the beast must have been eating feeds while in the stables.

Edit: Just thought of something, could this oddity be caused by the fact that the beast isn't a year old yet?
Lilia2011-12-01 18:16:06
What changes are you expecting to see? Appearance will only change when it matures or you use zimoru. All 'young' beasts of the same type look exactly the same. If you're trying to administer reagents, you need two feeds for each one. The feedbag holds four feeds, and they eat from it every midnight. So if you leave them in the stables for more than four hours, when you take them out, the feedbag should be empty.
Calixa2011-12-01 21:19:07
Feedbag was indeed empty when I took it out after putting it in there with feeds the first time. I assume if I feed it meatfeeds, I should see somewhere than I can put a reagent on it? Or doesn't it keep track of how many meatfeeds it has had?
Enyalida2011-12-01 21:34:57
It keeps track, but it doesn't tell you. You BEAST ADMINISTER and it either works or doesn't
Calixa2011-12-01 22:26:45
That explains all confusion then. Problem solved. I'll IDEA that it would be neat to have some kind of tracker for it.

Is it more effective to have your beast attack every time it can, but risk having it on cooldown when you need it to break a shield, or the reverse, keep it from attacking and order it when a mob shields? I'm thinking the former but I wonder if I'm missing something important here.
Ssaliss2011-12-06 18:26:20
From what I've gathered, the damage from beasts is negligible at best. If so, it'd probably be better to use them as shield-breaking machines.

Surviving toxic shock, she helped save the seas from pollution.

This a quest honours or an event honours like Kethuru and Muud?
Ssaliss2011-12-13 18:11:12
Event honor from about a year and a half ago (I think?), when you got the vacuum cleaner.

You can use them as a free hit to carry over damageshift to a new mob, possibly taking them out with the beast-balance alone.

I think if you don't have some sort of raze attack (raze/cleave etc) it's best to save it for razing, that's what I do anyway

Is there some syntax to search forging scabbards by weapontype? I swear there was one at some point but I've forgotten.

Tolerance:

a.) How drunk do I have to get to raise it? i.e. 'decidedly sloshed'

b.) Is there a limit of how much it can raise one IRL day?

c.) Anyone know any of its effects?
