I'd comment, but things have changed so much since this morning already I don't even know.

Just in case, how do you contact Estarra or any Lusternian admin via e-mail?
Unknown2012-01-12 14:35:44
Generally, @lusternia.com.
Very useful for when I need to harass people.

What are the weights for Geburah, Bear Totem, and Flex?
Unknown2012-01-12 21:09:03
Geburah is 1 according to bodyscan stats.
In a manse can you set the rooms so that you can start in A, go east to B, then go west to C instead of back to A? Or do the exits need to pair up?

You can do all sorts of silly things, they do not necessarily need to match up.

+1, +1, +3, respectively. Unless they've suddenly changed.

Hi, I'm not really sure where I should ask this but this thread seems to be general questions.
I have prior IRE experience and I'd like to jump on the Lusternia bandwagon. I've done a little research and monks seem like a fun class but I'm still not sure what to pick as my first race/class. I'm not into alting and I'm heavily combat oriented.
Any suggestions? Thanks!:)

Make a 'sampling' character, find out the situation, and then make the 'real' one would be my suggestion :)
Ishchael2012-01-13 10:02:06
Are there any specific 'PK' classes? I know that some classes exist mainly for the RP of each city but there are always those core pvp classes. I'm not necessarily looking for something easy, i actually like a challenge, but not a challenge with little payoff if that makes sense. I have most experience with a guardian-like archetype. How viable are those for combat? Realistically, all combat is group oriented, so I'd like to take that in consideration. However, the most fun comes from 1v1 arena bouts so I'm looking for a balance.
I can somewhat get a feel for the situation on a 'sampling' character but without my artifacts and skills, I won't really be able to see what I like without getting heavily involved. If that makes sense. Of course I'll try different things but it'd be nice to have a bit of direction. :)

Honestly? Each class/archetype/guild has PK viability. Of course, some classes are stronger than others, and there are times when a class would look 'weak' but that's only because they have no combatants to play the class properly, e.g., Cantors were considered weak until Draylor started using it to damagekill.
Vadi2012-01-13 10:51:58
I don't think any classes exist mainly for the RP of a city, so I'm not sure where is that coming from at all!
Guardians are pretty well group-oriented, somewhere in the middle-to-better than others in my mind here.

This just had to do with a few broken imperium classes that were retardedly underpowered. I've been looking at the wiki and the Celestines seem interesting. As well a the Shadowdancers. Is there any practical advise you can give regarding the two classes and their respective cities? Are they respectful? Helpful? Comparative? Afk snugglers? Once again, I do plan to create samplers, I'd just like to have a little info going in.

Can you afford to buy artifacts? Yes? Go Tahtetso. Free win button, heh.
Ssaliss2012-01-13 12:27:39
Glom as a whole is pretty anti-snuggling. Not being a fighter myself, that's about all I can say, but since there are (and have been) plenty of good SD killers out there, I suppose it's at least a worthwile guild for killing people.
I'd also like to think that Glom (and the SD) is a pretty helpful and respectful place. At least from my PoV.
EDIT: Oh, one thing that you'll run into is the choke naysayers. But that's a discussion to have elsewhere (although it has been pretty much discussed out at this point, I suppose).

The best way to find out is by making a couple of tester characters in the organizations you're thinking of joining.

There is the advantage of the Shadowdancers now having to live in Celest.
Poor place got Worf Effect'd.

Does anyone have the sky/weather messages from the Wounded Sky?Edit: Or the descriptions for the ice monsters besides the devils and eyebanes?
