It shows up on Mag's power logs.

By extension, alts will find out, and others will find out, and you will be watched from ooc derived suspicions.
Someone had to say it.

The above is 100% true. It happened to me.
Enyalida2012-01-30 09:28:42
Eh well. The forests don't have any way to actually detect when people are stealing the fae, so if we miss a cycle of influencing them, there isn't anything we can do about it otherwise, fufu.
Kante2012-01-30 09:31:36
Sad day. :(
Qistrel2012-01-30 12:32:17
Am I imagining it, or does empowering give more xp than charity? (The denizens I'm influencing are 'intimidating' type.)
Unknown2012-01-30 13:45:50
Yes. They become higher level when you're done, thus giving more XP.
Unknown2012-01-30 14:03:18
It's more xp because of the fact that you also get gold from charity, so yes. For xp gain, always empower. (Or weaken, of course.)
Kiradawea2012-01-30 15:26:02
Weaken lowers their level, and thus the experience you get from hunting them. It's more useful if you're a better influencer and basher and wants to reduce the risk of you being reduced to a smear on the wall when you try to hunt what you influence.
Unknown2012-01-30 16:05:34
Well, by that same notion, one could also argue that empowering raises their level, heh.
The point was that empower is superior to charity in terms of experience.

Kante:
How would anyone know that fae were being fed to Gorgulu unless they were seen? Does it show up in any org logs, or powerlogs?
I was stealing fae to feed Gorgulu on my main a while back, and nobody complained at me or enemied me, so thats probably a no. Power Minister not telling anyone was possibly an oversight. If it's any consolation, I was only stealing fae that were loyal to Night :P.
Rancoura2012-01-30 18:05:15
This has probably been asked before, probably by me, but I don't remember the answer.
What in-game year was it when Lusternia actually became playable by players (closed beta even)? Was it actually 1 CoE?

100 CoE.
Razenth2012-01-30 18:13:07
Why haven't some of the denizens died and been replaced by their descendants yet?
Jack2012-01-30 18:21:08
Because it's a game.
:P

Razenth:
Why haven't some of the denizens died and been replaced by their descendants yet?
I read a fun but non-canon explaination that someone wrote years before I joined.
It claimed that Shallamar, which became Nil, was once the house of the spirits of the dead, and the Emanations thier keepers. With the tainting of Shallamar, it is no more, and the cycle of death and rebirth forever disrupted. This had a major disrupting effect on fate, causing certain parts of history to repeat themselves at interval (quests), and forces the fates to return those slain to life, as they have nowhere to go after their death.

Why, if players never had to age, would denizens have to?
We can choose to go with our age or keep a forever-young form.
Unknown2012-01-30 18:45:48
Do Powerplex Gems stack with Power Tattoo for purpose of determining reserve cap?

Because players have walked through the Portal of Fate.

This is what Nihilists actually believe.
