Let's clarify some terminology. "esteem" is acquired by influencing mobs. When "esteem" is offered, it provides "essence" to the Divine. "Esteem" is not equivalent to "essence", and in fact the ratio is kind of high. Maybe over a hundred "essence" per unit of "esteem".

Thus, it would be more reasonable to ask if one gp is equal to one "essence", since if it were equal to one "esteem", "esteem" prices would probably bottom out.

You never want to offer gold directly. You go out and buy esteem with your gold, then offer the esteem imbued figurines (levelled a few times!).

And since esteem when offered equals 100 essence (plus whatever modifiers you might be affected by), it's silly to buy esteem at more than 20 gold per, unless you have a levelled-up figurine or plan to dust a shrine.

Uh, well I won scholarly prestige (which is some degree of validation) using terms like warship (full modules), battleship (2k+ hull, full, arties) flagship (3-4k+ hull, full, org-owned), bombardier (just 1 turret, or otherwise in progress).

I call ships that are only for flashpoints travel ships. The common name I've heard for just 1 room ships is something along the lines of 'escape hatch'.

That's the best I can offer, there are no official designations from the game proper, ships being so individually customizable.

I believe anything like this was left up for players/orgs to decide.

So I would expect that each org could develop their own terminology to refer to such ships if they wanted to and it would likely be accepted as long as it is consistent.
