How many runes can go on a single item? Were I to get the influence runes I'm missing, for example, could I mash all five onto a single piece of jewelry effectively?
Sylphas2012-03-05 18:38:27
I think the limit is 10.
Riluna2012-03-05 20:25:55
Has anyone found the threshold for the participation reward in the xp contest?

Riluna:

1 million. It's always been 1 million.

If I earned a 75% experience boost, does that apply to any experience I might get from spinning the wheel? In addition, would that wheel experience count for the week's contest?
Edit: It doesn't seem like the experience boost stacks with wheel spins, nor does the experience count towards this week's contest, in case anyone was curious.

These kinds of things certainly used to -all- stack. It was thanks to multiple xp stack buffs that I got titan in a matter of days.

Is there any reason for a secretary to test a novice over the novice reqs but not graduate them, after successful completion?
Enyalida2012-03-07 08:24:01
There are a few yes. Can think of three or four possibilities off the top of my head.
shavizatchi2012-03-07 08:28:34
Care to elaborate?
Didn't mean for my post to come across as rage-y, at all, if it did. I've been away from Lusternia for a long time and was rather confused.

Well, I know that even if the guild requirements don't require things like a character description, I won't advance you until you've got a basic one. Also, I wouldn't necessarily advance you out of guild novicehood if you weren't from the portals, especially if you are coming from another nation. I also wouldn't advance you if I had some sort of guild RP thing that we do on advancing and wasn't able for whatever reason to do it myself at the time of completion. I similarly wouldn't necessarily advance you if I had some sort of IC or extreme OOC reason to not advance you. For instance, there has recently been an 'epidemic' of fake newbies joining various guilds/orgs to be nuisances, killing novices, yelling profanity, kicking guards, stealing corpses and so on. I say 'epidemic' because it all seems to be one person. I think it's been taken care of, but many people are still on fairly high alert.
Really, if you're miffed that you aren't getting immediately advanced out of novicehood, you're barking up the wrong tree posting on the forums about it. I'd wait it out and work on completing my achievements if you still have novice achievements to do. Otherwise, I'd try to generate some sort of RP about wanting to move ahead, but don't be surprised when you are met with the classic "Patience, my child.".
EDIT: They also could have just forgotten :P.

Ah, yea. Makes sense. I completely agree with the description thing, I make sure my character's described even when it isn't explicitly required. Hadn't heard about the "epidemic," but that sucks.
And, no, I really wasn't pissed or coming here to complain. It was a genuine question (and one which is now irrelevant). If I had been, it would've been been a lot more direct and obvious. Besides, 5ish years of lurking on various IRE forums have left me with a distinct distaste for that sort of thing.

You may only donate credits to cities and guilds at this time.
When can I deposit credits to a clan?
When can I deposit credits to a clan?
Ssaliss2012-03-07 12:13:58
I think that should be read as "Only cities and guilds can have credits at this time". I.e. they'd have to code it in for you to be able to transfer credits to a clan.
Sakr2012-03-07 12:15:55
egh, any idea who I should ask? Then the help bank file should be updated as well, as it shows:
DEPOSIT
Deposits the amount of gold into the account of the
city/guild/order/clan etc.

Just BUG it, they'll probably fix the scroll to say city/guild.

Well, as soon as we churn out something acceptable for druids, we'll be good to go, more or less.
