What happens if an org runs out of power / comms / gold and all their elemental / cosmic stuff is slain? Say for Mag the latter would mean all the Demon Lords and Lady going poof as well as the Necromentate. What is the possible worst that could happen? And has this ever happened?

Sorry for the morbid curiosity but I am always interested in these things. Because at times it really feels like playing pretend and if you don't take part in it you get tossed out.

I think all your guards are unsummoned, and that's it. Your nexus will continue to accrue negative power if it's still being used, but nothing worse will happen. You will always be able to recover, since you can get essence from the Earth plane to raise DL's/power/etc.

Well if you mean what would happen in Magnagora in particular, I think that the Necromantate starts killing people in the city. Maybe that was changed though, or I am mistaken, but I seem to remember that happening when the Demon Lords are down.

I'm pretty sure that just happens when the Necromentate is low on spikes, and you go down in his pit (which you don't HAVE to do to add more spikes.)

They go into negative power. That's pretty much it, unless it's been changed otherwise.

If I recall correctly, there were "no power" descriptions of the Matrix and Eternal Flame when they first returned. I remember someone had a painting that described the Eternal Flame as embers or something like that, and I think the Matrix was a shattered sphere.

There's a cap of -1000 power, and you can't do anything that takes org power (no linking, no guards, no discretionaries, no attaching manses, etc).

You might also lose the no-summon shield, but I'm not sure on that one.

You also lose all your villages and would be unable to influence any villages back under your control until you get back into positive power.

/shrug It's not likely to happen unless something REALLY extreme goes down anyways! I don't think that losing your villages would really be that bad, either!

I agree. At the same time, if you've been in bad enough shape that you're at negative power, chances are you didn't have many/any villages in the first place. D:
