Think pokemon cards with lusternia.

You say that like it's an answer.

Well it is.

Weird question maybe, buuuut!

OK, say it's me and a Harbinger and my angel is invested with bleeding, I evoke bleeding with my symbol, and then the Harbinger CrowCaws. So there's two people causing bleeding, and then the target bleeds out and dies. Who gets the "kill" (xp/KILLS counter)?

I think it's the last person to cause bleeding, but not positive.

From my experience, it's last person to hit. I got a kill from bleeding, but gave no bleeding, only staffed.

Anyone have the different nihilist thrall names? I know of "a hideous archdemon", but what about the others (the exact game names for them).
Lothringen2012-03-13 21:13:25
A squat imp, a sensuous fiend, a malevolent demon.
Rivius2012-03-13 21:16:04
Thank you! :)

Poor Mag. >.>

What now poor Mag? We are having very healthy power reports, Calixa is a very happy minister due to it. But if you feel bad and are thus going to be nicer to Mag I will not object ;P

Thanks for the answers, all.

How do you find ice devils in icewynd?

You walk around on the Iceburn Plains, avoiding pits and winds while looking for ice larva.

1. Rune of Shielding -- good, I guess, but how useful are shields in general? Just good against warriors? I'm not quite sure that's worth 350 credits for me at the moment.

2. Dingbat map -- also good, but with the dingbat nose, is it really useful in general? I guess on Icewynd it could be.

3. Soap -- useful but not sure if it's a priority, considering the price.

4. Lv1 critical hit -- good but not sure if it's a priority.

Any other ideas are certainly welcome.

The map is good if you have an autowalker like one in mudlet, letting you move to targets quickly and efficiently.

The soap is really good 1v1 against classes that have cleanse cures, but I feel it loses value in big group fights. Same with the rune, though Seren seems to have a proportionally large number of warriors so it could be useful. Also, you need to have good parry to take advantage of it well.

Crit rune, pfft.

I also have no other useful artifact suggestions.
Enyalida2012-03-15 02:46:48
Soap is really only good against Illums and Nihlists at the moment. It's not currently useful against druids at all (which is why a lot of people buy it, I think). Depending on the outcome of the special report, that may change.

Trueshield helps while bashing too, IIRC. Plus it frees up a hand and perms your symbol.

it's useful against druids, I don't know why you would even suggest otherwise, curing sap on a 2sec balance is definitely better than a 4sec balance
Enyalida2012-03-15 03:00:33
Well. The idea is that druids have a lot riding on keeping you in sap. At the point you've cured sap, you're out of the druid's control. Recovering in 2 second is nice, but it doesn't help if the druid still has you stuck, and having it on a 4 second balance doesn't help the druid in any way. Even if they have power to sap you again, you'll have a nice window to cure in that being off eq/balance won't do anything about.

Soap helps a lot more if you have to repeatedly cure cleanse affs that recur quickly and don't hinder you from cleansing. These are things like mucous and ectoplasm. Unlike with a druid, where curing sap means you're pretty scott free, and a extra 2 seconds won't hurt you have to cleanse a whole lot to cure out of deathmark, and will be getting hit with ecto/mucous much more frequently than sap, and need to recover balance quickly to avoid getting hit again.

So, it helps (slightly) against druids but isn't worth it for that reason. I promise.

useful is useful, necessary? no but it is useful
