It only happened quite recently that you could pour from a bucket into a vial, actually. Before that, the only way was from water that started in a fountain (and may have been moved from there into a keg -- and even that wasn't possible for a while after kegs came out).

Silly that you can't do it without 33% Adept Environment or a friend with the same.
Fixed that for you?
Actually, that's kinda derpy. "HURRR, I CAN SENSE MAGIC IN THE SURROUNDING LOCATION AND SPOT SECRET EXITS BUT I CAN'T FILL A BUCKET WITH WATER." Unless that just happens to be an AB file thing, and FILL BUCKET WITH WATER is actually a general command that anyone can use.

It's quite normal.

This gave me my forum laughs for the day.

Anyone have the crazy formulas for sparkleberry, scroll and healing/mana/bromides potion healing? Also how much damage do people take for level of racial weakness?
Okin2011-10-01 20:01:20
How much and at what rate does experience scale for aetherbashing? Below what level is it simply not worth it, and how much better is in the high 90s compared to, say, the low 80s?

Maybe? Assuming Lusternia uses Achaea's legacy code for sipping. I pulled this off the Imperian forums.QUOTE
One uncontrollable factor is because of the way Imperian scales everything down by 11 compared to Achaea. The sip formula is this if you are interested.
(maxhealth x .15 + 100) = base or average sip
(base sip) x = sip range
Therefore base sip x .8 is your lowest and base sip x 1.2 is your highest.
However, it's important to note that these are all based on Achaea's system, which means you have to multiply everything by 11.
Someone correct me in the very likely event that this is wrong.(maxhealth x .15 + 100) = base or average sip
(base sip) x = sip range

EDIT: Whoops. You don't have to multiply anything by 11 because, in Lusternia, hp ranges weren't reduced like they are in Imperian. You can just plug max hp in as-is and you should get a realistic answer (not like when I tried and ended up with a base sip of ~9.4k when my max hp is only 5k. )

Silly. Synthetic Fabrics I can see, but Zippers and Denim don't seem all that farfetched.

Just because something could be made, doesn't mean it was. We get this a lot in the SCA, too. Cotton fabric and twill weave are medieval, but denim is not. Just because Lusternia possibly could have something doesn't mean it actually does.
Lendren2011-10-03 10:48:07
Yeah, but Lusternia is decidedly not medieval, despite the widespread use of swords. I think if anyone wanted to make a slippery slope argument about denim, honey, we've been down that ravine so far we came up the other side and fell down a whole other ravine by now.
